For a dish that some people think“should be classed as a bioweapon,” luosifen is surprisingly popular and in demand.
A specialty of Liuzhou,a city in Guangxi, luosifen was first introduced in the1970s by street vendors who started cooking rice noodles and river snails together. The humble street food wasn't really known outside the region until it was featured on the popular television show, A Bite of China,in 2012.
In 2014, the first instant luosifen factory was established. Luosifen's popularity really took off in 2020when a manager at a luosifen factory live-streamed how the noodles were made and took orders live, selling more than 10,000 packets in just two hours.
* There are more than 8,000 restaurants in China that specialize in the trendy dish, and a vocational school specializing in luosifen production has even opened inLiuzhou, writes the South China Morning Post. It also notes that luosifen packets were the most popular food item on the e-commerce platform Taobao in 2019, with sales of more than 28 million packets. Luosifen is also becoming popular overseas, with exports to more than 100countries or regions, according to Chinese e-commerce site Alibaba.
According to the South China Morning Post, Luosifen is made by boiling river snails, pork or beef bones and a dozen aromatics for eight hours, until the soup takes on a“fishy smell”. While the broth contributes this base flavor, the dish's unique strong odor actually comes from the accompanying pickled bamboo shoots, a specialty of Liuzhou, which are fermented (发酵) for half a month. As Chef Zhou Wen explained, “The pickled bamboo shoots are the soul of luosifen. Without them, the rice noodles would lose their authentic character.”
The taste of luosifen is described as“sour, spicy, salty, hot, and stinky” by CGTN. With pre-packaged luosifen available in so many countries, people worldwide can try it for themselves, if they can overcome the unique odor.

There are more than 8,000 restaurants in China that specialize in the trendy dish, and a vocational school specializing in luosifen production has even opened in Liuzhou, writes the South China Morning Post.《南华早报》报道称,中国有超过8000家专门经营这一热门美食的餐馆,甚至在柳州还开设了一所专门教授螺蛳粉制作的职业学校。

4 . It also has massive influence on Western fashion. It is a silk robe with wide sleeves and a wide belted waist, traditionally the accepted dress during the time of the Han Dynasty. Western fashion modified the hanfu dress, and it quickly gained popularity as a robe or lingerie item. However, not all designers chose to keep this look for the boudoir(闺房).
Who can forget Jennifer Lopez in Versace’ s green hanfu at the 42nd Grammy Awards in 2000? 5 . Dotted with citrines(黄水晶), this dress went on to become one of Versace's most iconic, making the stamp of China on Western fashion much more than a passing fancy.

Designers from China started showcasingtheir work on global stages.
Perhaps the most copied and modified Chinese garment in the world of Western fashion is the qipao.
Who can forget Jennifer Lopez in Versace’ s green hanfu at the 42nd Grammy Awards in 2000?
So, in a nutshell, a mix of cultural richness, innovation, and accessibility made Chinese fashion the global phenomenon it is today.
it is today是定语从句, 修饰先行词 phenomenon, 省略了关系代词 which 或 that。 in a nutshell 是插入语。

修饰介词短语 from the Shaanxi Province of China, 要用副词 originally, 表示“最初;起初”。
be regarded as意为“被认为是”。
10. while/but 考查连词。
The stall, which also sells other classic Chinese snacks like suanlafen and liangpi, is doing pretty well, selling around 200 roujiamo daily.
selling...
