Make Your Own Noodles
What You'll Need
●l/2 cup flour:all-purpose or bread flour, but bread flour makes chewier(更有嚼劲的)noodles
●4 tablespoons water
●1/4 teaspoon salt
Mixing bowl, rolling pin, pizza cutter or scissors
Adult helper for cutting and boiling
★Mix
Mix flour, water and salt in a bowl.Start with 2 tablespoons of water.Add a little water or
flour when necessary.A well-mixed dough()should not stick to your hands too much.
★Knead
Spread a little flour on your table and knead the dough.Hit,fold, and pull it until it's
smooth.Smooth doughs lead to chewier noodles.
★Rest
Cover the dough and let it sit for about 30 minutes. This lets the dough develop.
★Roll
Spread some flour on the table.Cut your dough ball into 4 pieces.
Take one piece at a time, and roll it out with a rolling pin,as thin as you can.
★Cut
When it's pretty thin, cut your noodles narrow, thick,or whatever shape you like!
Some people fold the dough before cutting,so it's easier to make straight lines. When ready,
unfold the noodles or they'll stick!
★Cook
You can cook your noodles right away or dry them for an hour for a bit chewier noodles.Cook
fresh noodles in a pot of boiling water for just a few minutes.Fresh noodles cook much faster than
dry ones. How long will depend on how thick your noodles are-thicker noodles take longer.
Eat up!

When it comes to daily choices,we already have a lot of tasty plant "milks"to choose from, but the latest
one, potato milk,is a new one.Potato milk doesn't sound like the most delicious thing in the world, neither
does oat milk(燕麦奶).
If you hope to try potato milk, you'll be happy to know that you can make it yourself at home.Generally,
you just boil the potato, then mix it with the water it is boiled in,strain()it and add more water until it
is what you want.
The only welcome potato milk, recently has been firstly sold on the market.Although some people noticed
the potato milk when it was sold, the success of this"milk"still needs time,as some people who have tried it
said that it tasted soso, others thought that it tasted a little salty.
But growing potatoes needs less land than growing oats, and it requires little water. Also it has more
production than most plants. The new healthy drink may have a huge hill to climb, but it certainly has a
chance to become the next big thing.

So far,China has successfully sent a large number of satellites()and spaceships into space.Space
scientists have been greatly inspired()by the old stories and ancient famous people when giving them
names.
Since thousands of years ago,Chinese people have dreamed of going to the moon.Chang'e Flies to the
Moon is one of the most popular stories. As you can see,China's first man-made satellite to circle around the
moon was named Chang'e I.More interestingly, the moon rover()was named after the Jade Rabbit,
who is the partner of Chang'e in the story. These old stories carry people's best wishes and dreams. With the
development of science and technology, our scientists have made them come true.
Kua Fu Runs After the Sun is another story to show how much ancient Chinese people wanted to know
about the unknown world. Now,Kua Fu is going with the scientists to "visit"the sun, because we have a
space project called KuaFu Mission.
Besides the ancient stories, space scientists also get ideas from ancient famous people. For example,
Mozi,an ancient scientist, discovered that light travels in a straight line over 2,000 years ago.His discovery
made space study take a big step at that time. So,China's first quantum()science satellite was named
Mozi, making China the first country in the world to achieve quantum communication between satellites and the
ground.
From such simple things as giving names to the satellites,we can see how great our traditional culture is
and what influence it has on our modern science and technology.

Can you imagine what the human body in the future will be like? Our class had a discussion about it.
Tiantian,anAI(artificial intelligence人工智能)robot,also joined us.Here are our guesses.
16.
Humans are now ten centimeters()taller than 150 years ago. So,in the future, people
will probably be even taller. Why?Because most of us today have much better food than those in the past.
You must say that people will be stronger according to the first guess.17.
With the
development of science and technology,we won't have much physical work to do.If people get used to this kind
of lifestyle,we will probably lose most of our muscles().
Next, let's come to our hands and feet.We are already using our feet less, and our hands more.
18.
At the same time, our fingers and our eyes will both get better because they'll have to do more
work together.
Here comes the most interesting one-it's very possible that people will have four toes(),not five.
The little toe really isn't needed anymore.19.
Let's wait and see.
Last but not least-people won't have as much hair on their bodies as now, since we don't need it to keep
ourselves warm.
What do you think of our guesses?20.
With the rise of AI,will we lose the ability of thinking
independently?

tools in very difficult situations.During the training,Gui's shoes broke and he had to walk on the hot sand for
two hours,which was very painful.
The Shenzhou-16 is the first crewed mission()since China's space station entered its application
