考点一 书信类之建议信、告知信
一、建议信
(一)建议信结构
情感背景+写作目的;具体建议+建议理由;总结升华+期待祝愿。
1.情感背景与写作目的决定建议信的语言风格:正式或非正式。建议信的目的若是鼓励、劝勉朋友,可用非正式语言;而在2023年新高考Ⅰ卷的应用文写作中,李华对外教Ryan的口语课堂提出建议则需用正式语言。
2.建议要具体、合理且可行,以达到解决问题的目的。
3.用积极的信息总结升华。
结尾时要热情地鼓励、祝愿对方,如以下结尾:
Hope my suggestions will be of some help to you.If you need more information, feel free to ask me.
(二)名师点津
1.提出建议的方式要委婉
考生过分关注文章首段的简洁明了,忽略了提出建议时的语气,就会导致建议不容易被人接受。请比较下面表达方式的优劣。
①I think it's not a good idea to randomly pair up students for the spoken English training after class.The reasons are as follows.
②We are very excited at the news that an oral English class will be arranged for us.But learning that we'll be randomly paired to do the oral practice, I feel an urge to express my different voice, hoping that this wouldn't offend you.
两种表达相比,②的表达方式比较恰当。学生向老师提建议时需用委婉的语气表现出自己的诚恳与对老师的敬意。
2.表述建议的内容要具体
考生通常站在宏观的角度往往感到无话可说,即使说出来也是空洞乏味的语言。因此,考生应该从微角度分析问题并给出具体的合理建议。

Ⅰ.开头部分:点明写信目的

二、告知信
(一)文章结构
告知信的常考话题有:告知上课计划、活动安排、比赛信息、讲座信息、招聘信息、报名事宜等。基本结构如下:

告知信通常分为两类:
1.告知将要发生的事情(活动计划或安排);
2.与某人分享发生过的事情。根据告知内容,使用一般将来时或一般过去时。
例如,2024年新高考Ⅰ卷要求分享上周五在公园上的一堂美术课,属于分享发生过的事情,故本篇写作的主要时态为一般过去时。
(三)多角度介绍告知内容
告知内容是写作重点,需要针对告知事情的时间、地点、目的、过程、影响、感受及意义等,从多角度展开。

Ⅰ.开头部分:简要说明写信目的

一、申请信
(一)首段信息要充实
重视首段,信息要全。考生若在首段写作中忽略一些信息,会导致隐性要点缺失。如写信的目的、申请的职位及招聘信息的来源等。
(二)主体内容要有针对性
申请信的主体部分语言表达要层次分明,逻辑清晰。理由要合情合理,具有说服力。对个人情况的介绍是申请信的核心内容,应详细向对方讲清楚自己的长处与优势,以给对方留下好印象,为自己争取机会。
(三)尾段语言要有情感互动
申请信的尾段要适当运用礼貌用语,充分体现出写信人的真诚态度及对收信人的尊重。
(四)积累语料库
Ⅰ.开头部分:介绍自己,简要说明信息来源,并提出申请
1.I am writing to apply for being a volunteer in the international cycling competition next month.
2.Having heard that you are recruiting volunteers to teach in the countryside, I am writing to apply for a chance to become a volunteer.

二、邀请信
(一)语言符合文体要求
邀请信是邀请亲朋好友或重要人士等参加某项活动时的书信。其特点是简短、热情,给人以真诚、亲切的感觉。邀请信需要运用与身份相符的语气和得体的语言,拓展的具体信息要清晰明确。
(二)名师点津
1.开头部分要避免无效信息
开头应用简洁的语言进行自我介绍并说明写信的目的。考生常常描述过细,出现了无效语言,干扰了行文逻辑。
例如,2022年新高考Ⅰ卷中的邀请信,有的考生这样开头:“I am Li Hua, in charge of the English program ‘Talk and Talk’ at our school broadcasting station.Our school broadcasting station is well received among the students, enriching our school life.I'm writing to invite you to attend our program.” 其中无效语言为:Our school broadcasting station is well received among the students, enriching our school life.
2.表达方式要恰当
例如出于礼貌邀请,邀请人需要与被邀请人协商一下参加某节目的时间是否方便,如果写成:Remember to attend our program then and you are welcome.看上去很委婉,其实单方固定邀约的时间,属于不礼貌交际。礼貌表达应为:Could you tell me if you are available then? If not, we can arrange for another time.
3.核心内容要具体
邀请信的核心内容要具体化,具有可操作性,避免泛泛而谈。试比较:
泛化表达:You are expected to talk about something you are interested in.
具体表达:You are expected to talk about how to improve the Chinese students' communication skills in English.
(三)积累语料库
Ⅰ.开头部分:简要说明活动情况,并邀请对方参与
1.I am greatly honoured to extend our sincere invitation to you for ...(活动) to be held at/in ...(地点) on/at ...(时间).
2.I am sincerely inviting you to participate in ...on behalf of ...

(一)语言吻合文体特征
咨询信是针对某个事项,希望了解详细信息的信件。咨询信问句较多,写作时要避免句式单调,语气要委婉礼貌,要充分表达获取信息的急切心情以及感激之情。咨询的问题应简洁、清晰、明确,避免歧义和误解,确保所提问题与题目要求的主题相关。

1.咨询内容要具体
如2021年全国甲卷,李华就“介绍中国传统文化的主题班会” 咨询外国朋友Chris,了解哪些中国传统文化更吸引外国友人。考生就 “征求建议” 这一咨询要点常常一笔带过,像Will you tell me some traditional Chinese culture that interests foreign friends?这一问句,这种空泛的交流让对方感觉不到写信人的诚恳态度。我们可以这样具体化咨询:
As I am totally clueless about which type of Chinese culture fascinates you, could you give me some hints?You can either give me a general type like Chinese painting, crafts and opera or a specific area like Chinese Kungfu, Tai Chi and silk.
2.咨询语言要委婉
考生很容易忽视咨询信语言的委婉客气,缺乏情感交流。尽量使用像下面的礼貌用语:

3.表达形式要灵活
在写咨询信时,灵活多变的句式,委婉礼貌的措辞,可以提高交流的有效性,例如北师大版必修三Unit 7的咨询信中用到了Do you accept sport documentaries? / I wonder if you could also give me more information about how to apply to be part of this festival./ Can we enter our film into another film festival at the same time?等问句。

(一)结构符合文体要求
推荐信主要是向组织或机构推荐某人,或向他人推荐某物,希望对方能接受推荐。根据新教材和近三年新高考可知,推荐某物是常考话题,此类推荐信的基本结构如下:

推荐信的主体内容为推荐理由,语言要简洁、合理,具有说服力。语气要肯定,对推荐对象给予积极、正面的评价。
如2018年北京卷,Jim对中国文化感兴趣,计划明年来北京上大学,要求你向这位外国朋友推荐北京的一所大学,如果你推荐北京大学,可以这样叙述理由:Learning your keen interest in Chinese culture, I suggest you apply for Peking University, one of the best universities in China.Its Chinese Literature major is perfect for you where you can be completely soaked in Chinese profound history and rich culture.
(三)积累素材库
Ⅰ.开头部分:推荐事项
1.Knowing that you are interested in ..., I am writing to you to recommend ...to you.

考点四 倡议书、演讲稿
一、倡议书
(一)要点符合文体要求
倡议书是由某一组织或社团拟定,就某事向社会提出建议或提议社会成员共同去做某事的书信。倡议书结构分明,主题突出,逻辑严密。写作时首先要阐明现状的严重性或所倡议活动的重要性,然后是倡导的具体做法,最后呼吁大家行动起来,并展望积极的结果。
如2022年全国甲卷关于保护海洋的倡议书,首先点明海洋的重要性:The ocean plays a key role in our world.It not only offers us sufficient food, but also maintains the balance of nature.Thus, it is imperative to protect the ocean.然后表明如何保护海洋:First of all, what we can do is place great importance on our daily actions.For example, garbage can't be thrown into the ocean.What's more, we can also hand out leaflets so that we can call on more people to protect the ocean.最后发出呼吁:All in all, it is high time that we devoted ourselves to protecting the ocean.To protect the ocean is to protect ourselves.
(二)语言符合文体特征
倡议书的语言要正式,要具有鼓舞性和感召力。因此可以选用祈使句或简短有力的句子进行呼吁,以便使读者产生共鸣,积极参与,从而达到倡议的目的。
例如,外研版必修二Unit 6写作部分倡议参加“光盘行动”中的祈使句“Let's start doing what we can to make the world a greener, cleaner place!”

二、演讲稿
(一)主体内容符合演讲稿特征
演讲稿是人们在工作和社会生活中经常使用的一种文体。它可以用来交流思想、感情,表达主张、见解,正文部分一般以论证分析为主,特点是简洁而缜密。演讲稿也可以用来介绍事物、情况或经验等,其正文部分一般以说明或叙述为主,特点是表述清晰,条理有序。
例如,2021年全国乙卷要求以“Be smart online learners”为题写一篇演讲稿,主体内容应以论证分析online learning的优势和不足为主,在此基础上提出自己的观点和建议。外研版选修二Unit 4写作部分为关于介绍Edgar Snow的演讲稿,主体内容以介绍Edgar Snow的相关情况为主,并在此基础上提出自己的观点:I admire Snow's special insight and bravery, risking his life during the war to get to the heart of the story and correct prejudice.For me, Snow's writing, and in particular Red Star over China, is a must-read for anyone with an interest in that period.
(二)语言具有感召力
演讲稿属于生活化的文体,具有宣传、鼓动、教育和欣赏等作用,它可以把演讲者的观点、主张与思想感情传达给听众以及读者,使他们信服并在思想感情上产生共鸣。 写作时要尽量使用简短的句子和口语化的语言。同时还要注重语言的感染力,可使用祈使句、感叹句、倒装句、强调句等进行感情强化。
例如,2024年天津卷写作运用了如下句式: It is time for us to take action./Always remember to turn off unnecessary lights, use digital notes instead of paper, and recycle diligently./Now let's work together to transform our campus into a greener, cleaner place.

(一)导语符合文体要求
新闻报道通常采用“倒金字塔式”的结构,把核心的信息放在导语中。导语部分需要包含事件或活动的时间、地点、目的、参与者等要素,叙述简明扼要,概括性要强。
例如,2023年浙江1月卷应用文对“认识我们身边的植物”活动进行报道的导语这样写:Last weekend, I participated in a “Getting to Know the Plants Around Us” activity organized by our Students' Union.
(二)确保内容的真实性
新闻报道是记叙文的一种,其特点是以事实为依据,对人的经历或活动过程给予准确的、实事求是的报道。语言要准确、简洁、通俗易懂,不用过分花哨的词汇和过于复杂的句型。

叙事短文属于记叙文的写作范畴,文章以事件为中心,以时间和空间为线索,按事件的发生、发展、结局展开。叙事类记叙文包括“六大要素”:时间、地点、人物、事件的起因、经过和结果(when, where, who, why, how, what)。

考点七 图表类写作
(一)图表分析方式
图表类写作常以线型图、柱形图、饼状图等形式出现。这类题型具有文字少、信息多、要点分散等特点。线型图通常用于显示趋势,柱形图通常用于显示事物如何随时间变化或进行比较不同的东西,饼状图用于显示百分比。要读懂图表,标题和说明文字是很重要的。
(二)图表描述建议
对于图表作文,写作内容主要包括三个方面:描述图表内容+总结变化规律+个人观点建议。写作时,重点引用能支持观点的数据,抓住总的规律和趋势。
