Andrew is my best friend. I’m lucky to have such a good friend because he is always there for me with his kind heart.
It all started the day we met, the first day of junior high school. I went into the classroom, feeling nervous, because I didn’t know anybody. Then I saw a boy with a funny round face walking towards me. He chose the seat in front of me and turned to talk to me. At that time, I didn’t feel nervous and lonely anymore.
As we talked more, I found that we actually shared lots of interests. For example, we both like basketball and maths. What’s more, his personality is just like mine, so we became good friends soon.
I still remember the day I started to regard (把……视为) him as my best friend. That day I didn’t finish my homework, so I had to clean the classroom during lunch break. I was feeling terrible, but he came to stay with me. He didn’t have to do that but he said, “Real friends stick (粘)together!” I was moved after hearing this. He is a true friend and I hope that we will be best friends forever.
