One possible version:
At night,Tina, the car owner;noticed the broken headlight first. She frowned slightly, bending
down to check the damage-the left headlight was shattered into pieces, and a long scratch ran
along the door, shining faintly under the streetlight.Just as she was about to take out her phone to
call the insurance company,a small yellow sticky note on the windshield caught her eye.She peeled
it off and read Kay's words carefully, her frown gradually softening. After a moment of thought, she
picked up her phone and dialed the number 555--7890.
Contrary to what Kay might assume,Tina didn't get angry.Instead, she smiled and said gently,
"Hi,Kay,I'm Tina,the car owner.First,I want to say I'm glad you didn't run away-that shows
you're an honest kid."Kay was surprised, and his nervousness disappeared. Then Tina added,
"About the repair cost, don't worry too much.I have insurance, and I just want to tell you it's all
