Step2 Look and say

They want Chinese dolls. We can also say puppets!

Activity Two
Step 1 Scan and choose
T: Scan the story from p46 to 47, then answer the two questions.
Step 2 Read , underline and complete
T: Read the picture 2 two times. Underline the adjectives and then finish the exercise on page 48. Then work in pairs.
T: Look, let’s check the answers. When we talk about “女士她的”, we should use “ her” or “his” ?
T: Yes. We should use “her”. So we can say “女士她的 ,her, her ,her”.
Step 3 Look and say
T: Boys and girls, what does the girl doll look like ? Look at the sentences and use “am, is, are” to complete them .
T: Yeah, very good! Can you finish the finding? “Be 动词用法:单数名词用is,不可数名词用is,复数名词要用are,and连接也用are。”
Step4 Let’s read
T: Well done. It’s time to read. Let’s read after the tape.
T: Please mark the rising and falling tones. Pay attention to the tip: and前读升调, and后读降调。
Step5 Read, underline and complete
T: It’s your turn to talk about Su Yang’s doll. These are study requirements.

T: Look at this circle. It means “same”. Look at these two pictures. They mean “different”. Please compare the same and difference between the two dolls. You can finish Part B on p48 according to the blackboard design. When you are finished , you can share with your partner .
