三、高考真题演练
2022年1月浙江卷(傲娇学霸与迷糊学渣)
When Dr. Henderson was assigning (指定) project mates for his psychology class, I secretly hoped that he would pair me with my best friend or at least a classmate I could have some fun with. Above all, I hoped he wouldn’t assign me to work with the fiercely competitive and extremely serious fellow who always wore dark clothes and apparently had a personality to match. As fate (命运) would have it, Dr. Henderson very deliberately matched everyone in class and announced that I would be working with the one person in class I wanted to avoid.
I went up to my new teammate and introduced myself. He looked at me as though I weren’t there. I felt he treated me as though I would hold him back and probably make him fail to get an A in the course. He wasn’t mean or abusive; he just gave me the impression that he could do whatever project we dreamed up better if he did it alone.
Needless to say, I didn’t look forward to an entire term of being brushed off, but I tried to make the best of it and didn’t say anything for fear that I would make things worse.
The project required each team to develop a hypothesis (假说), set up an experiment to test the hypothesis, do the statistical analysis and present the findings. Whatever grade the team received would be shared by both students.
When my teammate and I met to discuss our project, I was uneasy. Here was this challenging student who had a reputation for single-mindedness and good grades — the exact opposite of me. I actually wanted to drop the class at one point, but stopped short because I didn’t want to give him the satisfaction of my chickening out. I decided to stick to it no matter what.
After long discussions we somehow agreed to do a study on the psychological well-being of teenagers. I wasn’t sure what it meant exactly, but at least we had a topic.

I remember being happy for my friend Avery when she won the karate (空手道) championship we’d both competed in. But I’m embarrassed to admit I was also pretty envious! But when she and I tried out for Alice in Wonderland, though, things went the opposite way.
“I really hope I get picked to be Alice,” said Avery.
“You’d make a great Alice!” I said. “I don’t care what part I get as long as I’m in it.” “So you’d be happy to have a small part like the Dormouse?” she asked.
“Exactly!” I said.
A few days later, Avery and I raced over to the theater office, where the director had posted the cast list.
“Wow!” said Avery. “You got the part of Alice and I got the part of the Dormouse.”
“That can’t be right,” I said. “There must be some mistake!”
But I really and truly was given the part of Alice. I’m pretty sure the reason I’d done well is that I hadn’t been nervous at all during the audition (试镜). And the reason I hadn’t been nervous is that it hadn’t even occurred to me that I could get the major role.
“Do you want to come over after school and we can practice our lines?” I asked.
“You mean practice your lines?” Avery said, not even looking at me. “No, thanks. I’m pretty busy this week.”
“OK,” I said. “How about some day next week?”
“Sorry,” she mumbled. “I’m pretty sure I’m busy forever.”
That night at dinner, after my parents congratulated me for getting the lead role, they asked how I felt about it.
“Well, I’m confused,” I said. “Avery was so upset that I was picked to be Alice, she pretty much threw away our friendship.”
“Hmm,” said my mum. “Arizona, don’t you think this might be an opportunity for you to be an extra-good friend?” “Sometimes when our friends do well, we feel envious and don’t know how to act. Try giving her a little time and understanding. I bet she’ll come around before too long.”
Over the following rehearsals (排练), Avery kept ignoring me on purpose.

One warm, sunny morning, Marsha jumped right out of bed.
Today was the first day of summer vacation and also the last day she’d be spending with Tanya, her very best friend. Tanya was going to camp in another state. She’d be gone all summer. Marsha and Tanya always spent their summers together. This one would be no fun without her!
Marsha’s mom came in.“What’s the matter, Rabbit?” she said.
“I miss Tanya already. Isn’t that silly?” Marsha said.
“No,”her mother said softly.“Missing a best friend isn’t silly at all. ” Marsha’s eyes were wet.
“I know how you feel.”“You do?”asked Marsha. Marsha’s mom nodded.“I had a best friend when I was your age. And she went away to camp, too.”“I felt pretty sad,” Marsha’s mom said. “I wanted my best friend to think about me. So I gave her something.”“What?”asked Marsha.“I gave her my best necklace,” her mom said.
“You did?”asked Marsha.“Well,I wanted her to have it,” Marsha’s mom said,“Maybe you could give Tanya one of your favorite things to take to camp. How about a doll? Then she will never forget that you are her best friend.”Marsha wiped her eyes.“Mom, that’s a great idea!” she said.
“Are you going to give Tanya your Glenda Glitter doll?” said Marsha’s mom.“Yes, Mom,”she said.“This is the one I want her to have. But now I’m going to get Glenda all nice and clean. ” Soon, Glenda Glitter looked just like new.
Next it was time to dress the doll. Marsha ran to her room. In a flash she was back. Her hands were full of doll’s dresses. “This is the one I like best,” she said.“And I know Tanya likes it best, too.”
“Let’s see.I think I can fix this little rip(口子).” Marsha’s mom was good at fixing things. The doll dress soon looked good as new.
“Look, Mom!”she said. “Glenda looks beautiful.”
“You know, Kitten,”said Marsha’s mom, “Tanya will like this present so much.”“Tanya will be leaving soon,”she said.“We better hurry up.”Marsha and her mom walked over to Tanya’s house. They rang the bell.

Writing 04
阅读下面短文,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
I put one last box into the back seat and closed the car door. It felt as if I were closing the door on my whole life. At first, I was excited when Mom told me she’d gotten a fantastic new job at an animal hospital. Then, because she always saves the bad news for last, she told me the really terrible part. The hospital wasn’t in our city; it was miles away in the middle of nowhere. And I’m definitely not a country girl.
I stood beside the car, taking a last look at our building. To most people, it probably just looked like any other old apartment house, but I loved every brick. Just then, I saw my best friends, Hana and Leo, come to see me off. While Hana played a cool riff(重复乐段)on her trumpet(小号), Leo sang, “We will miss you, Celia.” I hugged them tightly and jumped into the car fast so no one could see me tear up. As Mom drove away, I waved goodbye to my friends, my neighborhood, and my life.
We rode a while in silence, and I held my violin case for comfort. Leo, Hana, and I had been writing songs for our band, but that was all over now. “Don’t think of this as an ending,” Mom said, with her knack(技能)for reading my mind. “It’s an exciting beginning. It’s normal to be a bit anxious about unfamiliar things, but you don’t need to be afraid of them.” I kept silent and looked out the window as crowded, exciting city streets turned first into tasteless suburban shopping strips(商业街)and then into endless, boring trees and fields of corn. We finally arrived at our new home, a two-floored wooden farmhouse. Mom said I could go explore. Mom never let me go out alone in the city, so maybe a bit more freedom would be one consolation(慰藉)of living here.
注意:1.续写词数应为150左右;
2.请按如下格式在相应位置作答。
Feeling that country life might turn out okay, I wondered off, taking my violin with me.

Writing 05
阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
Jenny was 18 and she thought she would be strong enough to face going away to college2,000 miles away from home. But by the second day, she was crying on the phone, telling her mom she wanted to come home. It could be because she was the baby of a family of six and the only girl, or her family was particularly close and loving.
Unfortunately, her roommate, Zara, heard her crying. As soon as Jenny hung up the call, Zara started making fun of her. “Oh my! Does baby miss her mommy in Phoenix?” Jenny wiped her tears and asked whether she missed her parents and longed to go home. Zara replied coldly that she had put away such childish things and warned that she shouldn’t behave like a cry baby. Soon everyone in the dorm was calling Jenny “Cry Baby”. The idea of quitting college and running home constantly occurred to Jenny. But somehow, she made it through.
One day, her dad called and asked her to come home for a long weekend. In the end, her father added that she could bring her roommate Zara home and he would soon send two return tickets. Jenny had never told her parents that Zara was far from friendly or supportive. She’d been too ashamed and eager to hide her complete misery(痛苦) from her family.
That evening, Jenny told Zara about her family’s invitation. Zara stared at Jenny, her mouth open. “A ticket for me? Why?” she asked. “I told them you were nice to me…So they wanted to be nice to you...” Jenny explained awkwardly. After a while, Zara said, “I’m coming!”

To me, the world's greatest satisfaction is reaching down and lifting someone up. I believe in helping others in times of need. If we all help others, we can make a great impact in society. By joining hands, we can reunite the world.
You never know how big an impact you are making in someone's life. At 1 am, on Saturday, August 25, 2017,Hurricane Harvey made landfall in Houston, Texas. Before this, my family was preparing for flooding, packing food, first aid kits, and planning for the worst. While taking our cats and rabbits upstairs, my friend Tom called and explained their dilemma(窘境). Their area was issued a mandatory evacuation ( 强制疏散) and they had to leave.
With no place to stay, they were on the way to our house. All seven of them, 5 kids, including a newborn came in. Together we prepared their rooms and let them settle in.
After dinner, we turned on the news and saw Harvey coming in. That night none of us could sleep, listening to the wind blowing and rain thundering down. The four year -old told me, carrying the cat,“Saira, the kitty is scared. Can you make the rain stop, please?” With a forced smile, I helped her to bed and let the cat sleep with her. When we stepped out the next morning, we saw the nearby lake completely full of water, which was an amazing yet scary sight. Tom went a lttle further down and came back wet and explained that there was no way they could return home. They ended up staying that day and planned on leaving the next morning.
The next morning, the news reported how jammed (堵塞的) and flooded the roads were in his community. With tears and worried faces, they stayed for a week. Even my cat seemed to understand the terrible situation. Finally , when the roads were cleared, we all went to send them back. On the way, I saw the damage that the hurricane did.

Writing 07
阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
I loved school, and I really did. But since May came in, it had become an uncomfortable place. May was the tallest kid in our fifth grade class. However, her height wasn’t a problem-her attitude was. No part of the student population was beyond the reach of May’s threats.
Many students thought that May was all bark and no bite. But I wasn’t so sure. I had managed to keep away from her. But all that changed when I showed up for school one morning with a new hairstyle. Apparently, by wearing my hair in a French braid (辫), I had managed to change my fate.
It all started when my best friend, Jaime, said my hair looked nice. I noticed May’s cold glare and it made me uncomfortable-but I remained focused on my math worksheet. Then came May’s frightening words as she passed me in the cafeteria: “Nice braid. Somebody might cut it off.”
I was scared, especially when May moved her fingers like a pair of scissors. My stomach dropped to my knees, and I immediately came up with a plan, which included hiding out in the bathroom at the end of the school day so as to avoid running into May on the walk home.
I told the crisis (危机) to my mother the next morning. She said to me, “She tries to make others scared, that’s all. Don’t be afraid of her. If she can see that you’re not afraid, she will stop. I’ll bet she’s like everybody else-she just wants to fit in and make friends. Perhaps she just doesn’t know how.”
I thought over my mother’s words. They were reasonable. May wasn’t so great at making friends. Maybe-just maybe-under all that toughness was a regular fifth grader who simply wanted to be liked. Did I have what it would take to befriend May? I wasn’t sure, but I wanted to find out.

Over the years, I’ve been guilty of hurriedly shutting the front door to many strangers when they came to my home knocking with the intention of selling things. I hated it when they tried their best to persuade me to buy the things they promoted. But earlier this year, around Easter time, a dear friend of mine, Linda, had an experience that changed my mind and attitude towards these towards these “intruders”.
Last winter, Linda went through a very messy divorce and was very depressed. So she quit her job and left Los Angeles, where she encountered her ex-husband in college. She flew to Boston on the east coast of US. Later, she settled in a new neighborhood in East Boston. However, shortly afterwards, the company where she worked went bankrupt (破产). Suffering a series of bitter blows, she fell ill, a severe case of flu. She had to stay at home for the whole week, feeling extremely bad and hopeless.
Early one morning, there was the terrible knock on her front door. Peering out the window, she saw a young lady holding leaflets and a TV set model. She knew of a large TV set establishment nearby and assumed a message was about to be gently delivered. “This is the last thing I need today,” she muttered to herself and hesitantly opened the door.
Coughing, she poked her head out and impatiently informed them she wasn’t the slightest bit interested in any TV whatsoever. Furthermore, she added, she was feeling quite unwell and abruptly shut the door. The ladies politely turned and left in silence.
Paragraph 1:
A few hours later, another knock.

Paragraph 2:
Linda was surprised by this lovely action.

As I was coming into Middle School, Grade Six, I was really excited because my friend Jennifer was going to be in the same Middle School as me! At first things were great, she introduced me to her fiend, Amy and we had lots of fun together. Then things started to change. Jennifer was very controlling: I couldn't make new friends, because if I hung out with different people, she would decide that I was "mad at her and Amy". So I didn't make new friends, and pretty soon being Jennifer's friend became a battle between Amy and me.
Jennifer wanted to be the "leader" of our little group. Amy and I were never partners in class projects or gym; it was always, "Who gets the privilege(荣耀)of being Jennifer's partner." It was either Jennifer liked me and she left Amy out or Jennifer liked Amy and she left me out. Amy and I both wanted to be Jennifer's number one. Being Jennifer's friend became the most important thing in the world.
I always waited for Jennifer and Amy after classes, so we could walk together to our next class. Amy and Jennifer chatted by Jennifer's desk as Jennifer packed her books up and I waited by the door. Sometimes when they left, they'd walk right past me. No "Thanks for waiting". No "Sorry we took so long". It was as if they couldn't even see me. Yet I still waited after every single class.
Most of the time we gossiped(传播流言蜚语)about people, and I soon realized that nobody was good enough for Jennifer. Jennifer had a list of bad things about everybody, even Amy. And I'm sure she had a list of bad things about me, too. After months of living through school this way, I had really changed. I was moody, depressed, lonely, and I didn't smile much. I spent lots of days trying not to cry. I felt so left out.

“Now, parents and students separate into two groups. You will be reunited at the end of the campus tour.”
Groups of incoming freshman happily left their parents upon hearing this announcement. I was less than thrilled about starting college, let alone leaving my mother’s side to tour the campus with other freshmen; I felt a little anxious. We followed the senior tour guide. The other freshmen chatted and made causal introductions as I dragged behind. How could I have believed I was ready for this? After all, it had only been a few months since I left the hospital. I was feeling better for the first time in years. But college...?
My thinking was interrupted by a sweet female voice, “Hi, I’m Jennifer.” “I’m Lauren,” I replied. “Where do you prefer to live? At home or on campus?” she said. Before I could reply, the tour guide announced it was time to create our schedules and select the courses we wanted to take.
We crowded into the Student Activity Center. Three seniors handed out thick course bulletins (课程公告) and forms that needed to be filled out. All around me, the sounds of turning papers and writing sounded like those given by an alarm clock. Others seemed to be moving through the process quickly but I hadn’t even opened my course catalog (目录).
“Focus,” I told myself. “just read through the catalog and find the course you like and a schedule that works” psychology A or B, Geology 101, English, history, sections 1, 2, 3…The list went on and on.
I panicked and almost started to cry. How was I supposed to know how to complete it? I was just relearning how to live in the real world, and they wanted me to make a schedule. How I wished someone could help me.
Soon, other freshmen were handing in their forms.

五、模拟题演练02
Writing01
阅读下面短文,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
As a sixth grader, I began noticing how other kids were separating into different groups in the class. There were the geeks, the jocks (小丑) , and the popular cool kids. I wasn’t sure where I belonged. And I think that was a problem.
Our teacher had assigned “secret friends” for the coming week. The purpose of this assignment was to do nice things for your friend without letting them know who was doing it. We could leave encouraging notes on their desk or mysteriously leave a card in their backpack or book. Our teacher wrote each kid’s name on a piece of paper and threw them into a bucket, then we each closed our eyes and drew the name of the classmate who we were to secretly befriend and support over the next five school days.
Everyone was excited to get involved, including Rochelle. By the middle of the week, we had turned this assignment into a contest to see whose secret friend could leave the best gift. Instead of encouraging notes, we left stationary sets on our friend’s desk. Instead of giving compliments, we were giving bubble gum, lollipops and even money. It seemed that everyone was getting cool presents from their friends. Everyone except me, that is.
My secret friend followed our teacher’s directions without a fault. I received handmade cards, notes with nice thoughts and countless smiley face pictures saying that I was one of the nicest girls in the class. This friend seemed to think highly of me from the notes that were left, but the lack of gifts kept me wondering what was up with whoever had pulled my name.
On the last morning of our assignment, I walked into my classroom and noticed a package on my desk. At last, my secret friend had grasped the idea that a gift was what I really needed. I quickly ripped open the gift paper, only to find a small doll inside. The pink wool-knit doll seemed not new but delicate. But the girls sitting near me giggled and gossiped about the “little girl” gift I had received.

Writing02
“Don’t let him get away,” shouted Hassan to Moiz as they were chasing their neighbor Usman.
Moiz and Hassan were the hateful bullies (欺凌者) in their neighborhood. Usman was a sweet guy who loved reading. He didn’t have many friends, but he had his books with him all the time.
That day he was coming back from the bookshop around the comer with a few new interesting books and an old notebook in hand. The two bullies were impatiently waiting to tease someone in the street.
As Usman crossed them without paying much attention, they made him their target. They started to chase him, pulling his shirt and calling him names. Usman kept walking without looking back at them. He just wanted to get home.
While Usman was focused on just getting home, he didn’t realize how close they had come to him. In his hurry, he dropped his notebook. Hassan leaned to pick up the notebook for the sake of teasing him. Usman couldn’t let his notebook be in someone else’s possession. So, he pushed Hassan back, picked up the notebook and ran as fast as he could, but Hassan was not going to let this go. He ran after him and Moiz followed him.
They caught him near his house. Hassan grabbed the notebook from him. When he opened the notebook, he saw that Usman had written something in it. Thinking that it was Usman’s diary and he would learn a few secrets, Hassan started reading with interest.
After a few minutes, Hassan had tears in his eyes. He felt terribly sorry and hugged Usman apologetically, and then he walked away with Moiz.
“Hassan, what did you do? We chased him for nothing.” Moiz was angry. Hassan’s softness confused him. “Say something, what was in that notebook?”
“What I read just now is beyond your understanding.” Hassan sighed with a heavy heart.

Writing03
Allison stood in line with the rest of her class, waiting for the school doors to open. This was the last day before school closed for Christmas break. She couldn’t wait for secret gift swap (交换) happening in class today. Alison tuned to say something to her best friend, Wendy, then froze. She was surprised to see Wendy looking down at the ground with her books pressed tightly to her chest.
“What’s wrong, Wendy?” Allison asked quietly.
Wendy shook her head, her eyes connecting with Allison’s. Allison could see that Wendy’s face was as dark as a cloud, with no smile in sight.
“My parents didn’t give me anything to bring to the gift swap,” she whispered. “They said they didn’t have extra money for stuff like that.”
Allison looked at Wendy, confused. “But, we weren’t supposed to bring anything expensive. Just something small that didn’t cost a lot of money.”
Allison thought back to the last time she’d been at Wendy’s house. She’d opened the refrigerator looking for something to drink, only to find that it was mostly empty. The furniture in Wendy’s house looked old and beaten up.
“It will be okay, Wendy,” Allison said. “We get to have all that time off for Christmas. Come on, cheer up!”
Wendy gave her a small smile, then looked away. At that moment, a whistle blew, and the kids started walking into the school building. The Christmas party was about to start.
One by one, the kids dropped their gifts into the bag the teacher was holding. Allison looked over at Wendy. Most of the kids were smiling around the bag, eager to get started, but Wendy stood off to the side, looking down at her feet. Allison hated seeing her friend so upset. She wished there were something she could do about it.
“Come on up, Allison. It’s your turn,” the teacher said.
Soon everyone had pulled out a gift and unwrapped it.

Writing04
One day in summer vacation, I was in the chemist’s shop with my son who is fifteen years old. My son is talkative and his dream is becoming a famous speaker. So he loves engaging with strangers in public if they are friendly and safe. That day he said “Hi” to a kid and began a pleasant conversation. The kid called Jack was wearing the uniform of the senior high school my son would attend next month so I pointed that out to my son. When we were leaving. Jack said, “See you at school.”
On the first day of school, Jack, who was in Senior Two, greeted my son at the school gate. They soon became good friends. When I went to pick up my son after school, they walked out side by side. Jack’s mother stopped her car, too. However, as I was packing my car with groceries, I found my son’s new uniforms were missing and we felt extremely anxious. Seeing the scene like this, Jack’s mother constantly comforted us. She drove up behind me and promised to offer me a bag of uniforms that no longer fitted her son. She gave me those clothes for nothing! I was overjoyed and I went and picked them up from her the next afternoon.
This may seem like a small kindness to some people but for me it is huge! I have been stressing quite a lot about the cost of uniforms for school. We are attempting to start a business with no capital and have financial difficulties at the moment. I also suffer from severe depression and anxiety and have had the really worst year in my life. I cannot even begin to explain how much I appreciate this small gesture from a complete stranger. It has relieved a bit of a burden from my shoulders. You never know when the small kindnesses, even simply a smile on the street, can be incredibly uplifting to a complete stranger
I asked Jack’s mother for her contact information, and in the following days we kept in touch, and gradually we became good friends, too.

Writing05
It was a January afternoon. My wife, Savitri and I sat on the Sahyadri Express. As the train pulled out of the station, we could barely hide our excitement. We were finally on the way to a honeymoon to Matheran! This was the first time we had enough savings to go on a trip together.
The train stopped at Neral, where we were forced out of our reverie (白日梦). As we stepped out and started making inquiries, we realized it was unlikely that we would find a train to take us to the misty hill station we had been dreaming of for months. The afternoon gradually settled into a pink dusk as we sat in a corner at the station, waiting for news of the train services as the cold winter breeze rattled (使紧张)our bones. We unwrapped some biscuits when a little girl, no more than five or six, went past us, screaming, “But I want food! I am hungry!”
Savitri's eyes turned to the girl’s family. Smiling, she called out-her name was Mehrunisa,we overheard-and asked her to seek her parent’s permission to accept biscuits from us. Left with no option, her family accepted, And we began chatting.
After several hours, the train finally arrived. We entered alongside. As the short uphill journey progressed, Savitri and I softly discussed our trouble. It seemed unlikely that our reservation at Ragdi Hotel would still be held. As the train arrived and we rose to bid the family goodbye, Mehrunisa’s father, Viraaz, suggested that he would accompany us to make sure that we had a place to spend the night. He had overheard our anxious exchange.
His family headed to their guesthouse and Viraaz came with us to look for a hotel. To no one’s surprise, Ragdi Hotel was packed with people. The manager offered assistance by placing a few beds in the coal storage room but the cold made it uninhabitable. A gradual dread(恐惧)started to appear in my mind.

Paragraph 1: We started to meet regularly to draw up our plans.

Paragraph 2: One day I got word that he was admitted to hospital for a serious disease.
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
参考范文1
We started to meet regularly to draw up our plans. At first, it seemed that he dominated our discussion for he was familiar with the topic, but I was the opposite(与原文衔接自然). However, as days passed, I gradually got involved because he started to encourage me to explain my views! I could feel his icy shell gradually melting away(背诵的但是用的很自然) and eventually I could discuss with him looking straight in his eyes. We finished the hypothesis and experiment procedure, in great harmony actually. Things came out that he was serious, indeed, but he seemed icy because he was lonely. We parted the day before analysis discussion with confidence for our project. But when I returned the next morning, he was nowhere to be found. The fact struck me feeling desperate. He didn’t come either in the following days.
One day I got word that he was admitted to hospital for a serious disease. It was the day before deadline and I drowned myself doing analysis and preparing for the presentation. Hearing the word, I dashed to the hospital and found him, my dear teammate, lying on the bed, face pale. His eyes sparkled as he saw me. Beside him I managed to finish the last tasks with his guidance---his fingers pointing at certain figures. Then next day I went for the presentation in class.
参考范文2
We started to meet regularly to draw up our plans. Serious as my teammate was, we gradually grew in good tune with each other. He had a way with technical things and approached every detail with a clear purpose. And I spared no effort to do my bit, collecting data and recording results carefully, so as to make up for my academic disadvantage. I fully discussed my ideas and shared my insights with him, who was once indifferent but later listened to me with close attention. We were making steady progress with our project.
One day I got word that he was admitted to hospital for a serious disease. The moment I saw him lying helplessly in bed, I decided I had to act alone and do my best. I assured him I would not let him down and he should concentrate on recovering. I poured more time and energy into that project than ever before, and finally presented our findings to the class, which surprisingly earned us an excellent grade! When I told him about our shared success, he smiled. It had to do with trust and the joy of sharing a common prize.
四、模拟题演练01
Writing 01
阅读下面材料, 根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。续写的词数应为 150 左右。

【答案】Over the following rehearsals(排练), Avery kept ignoring me on purpose. Mum’s words echoing in my mind, I supposed maybe we both needed some space. Then at rehearsal one day, I approached her and smiled, “You’re such a talented actor, and the way you say your lines is awesome.” “Thanks,” said Avery, “I figured out all the ways to perform it well.” A wave of pride flashed across her face. “Well,” I said, “I’m still struggling with a few things about my character. I’d love your help if you have any free time this week.”
She smiled. “I think I might be free on Thursday.” On hearing her words, I felt more than happy and smiled back. Avery came to practise with me as she promised. As expected, our play turned out marvellous, and the audience burst into cheers, pride filling in all of us. Although the friendship path between Avery and me was once a little rough, we eventually enjoyed the sweetness from each other. Mum was right, “Give your teammate a little time and understanding, and he or she just might come around before too long.”

【答案】Feeling that country life might turn out okay. I wandered off, taking my violin with me. Suddenly l heard something I wasn’t expecting-a beautiful, jazzy tune. I pushed through some corn only to come face-to-face with a cow. Then another hot jazz riff floated through the air. I turned around and saw a tall kid playing an old saxophone in a field of corn. His music was fantastic, and he didn’t dress the way I figured a country kid would. This guy was wearing clothes that made him look cool, like a famous performer.
I couldn’t resist, so I took out my violin and began to play along. The boy looked surprised, but he didn’t miss a beat. We played together, and by the end, a cow was tapping her tail to the rhythm. When we finished, we introduced ourselves to each other and became friends. We also decided to write songs together. I looked at my new friend, the cheerful cow and tall corn. I could feel my thoughts about country life already changing, and I had a feeling it would change a lot more.

During her stay, Jenny’s family constantly expressed their gratitude to Zara for taking care of Jenny.
Feeling the family’s warmth, Zara began to sob. In between sobs, Zara admitted that she envied her because she had never experienced the love. Jenny wiped her tears away and joked “Look! who’s the cry baby now!”. Jenny’s mother hugged Zara “It’s OK.

After reaching their house, I realized they couldn't live in it. I could see how high the water had come. Their carpets, sofas and chairs were all ruined. The house smelled like rotten food. They also realized that they could not stay in the terrible conditions. It's most likely that they were embarrassed to stay in my house again. They packed a week's worth of clothes, and prepared to stay in a cheap hotel for a few days. We all insisted that they stay in our house for another week.
In the next week, we helped them to fix the house up. Our family also tried our best to help them to clean up their house. They threw away the unusable furniture and the carpet. I tried to explain to them how everything would be fine, but I had never seen such worried faces. They finally returned home. Over the next 2 months, they and I repaired their house and it looked better than before. I was so glad I helped them.

After lunch, I invited May to come to my house after school. I asked her to walk home and watch TV together. I was very nervous though I thought under the watchful eye of my parents, little could go wrong. Still, I was proud that I had given the invitation. Then, something unbelievable happened. May smiled. And then she said yes. I don’t remember what we watched on television, or what my mother prepared for our after-school snack. But I do know that I went from regretting the day I wore a French braid to school to realizing that it had become the starter for a new friendship.
May and I became pretty good friends.

【参考范文】
A few hours later, another knock. She walked impatiently to the door, opened it and looked out. She was annoyed and angry with the same people who were trying to sell her a TV set. Before they could speak, she made it clear once again that she didn’t want what they were selling. But to her surprise, instead of the leaflets they had been selling, they held several boxes of medicine and handed them to Linda.
Linda was surprised by this lovely action. Just then, the young lady smiled and told her that she had just seen Linda’s cough and thought she needed some medicine urgently, so she went back and bought some for her. Linda received the medicine with embarrassment. She then expressed her sincere thanks and apologized for her previous actions. Since then, my attitude toward those who sell products has changed a lot.

阅读下面短文,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。

【答案】
Finally, near the end of the school year, I got sick of being treated so poorly. I was sick of getting into battle for friendship. I stopped sitting with Jennifer at lunch and waiting for her after class. It didn’t take long: Jennifer quickly announced that I was “mad at her”. I said, “I’m not mad, I just think I need to make some more friends.” But with Jennifer it’s all or nothing. If you didn’t worship her, she was convinced you were mad at her. So our friendship fell to pieces.
I’m in Grade 7 now, and I have tons of friends. I’ve found many girls Jennifer classified as “mean” were the sweetest people in the world. We have fun together and I love them all to bits. It amazes me how easy our friendship is. There’s no struggling to be on top—we’re all equal. It doesn’t hurt my feelings or make me feel alone. I wish Jennifer could understand, I still want to be friends with her, but I can’t limit myself to one friendship. It’s better to have ten or twenty friends than just one best friend.

阅读下面短文,根据所给情节进行续写,使之构成一个完整的故事。

【答案】
Soon, other freshmen were handing in their forms. Many of them rushed out to meet their parents. I couldn’t breathe and was feeling anxious. My head was pounding. Moments later, I was crying. And several students stared at me. One of the seniors in charge walked over my table. “What’s the matter?” she asked impatiently. “I... I can’t do this!” I said. “All you have to do is make your schedule, just like everybody else,” she said, clearly annoyed.
Then, I felt a warm hand on my shoulder. I looked back and found Jennifer standing behind me. “Everything is alright,” she told the senior. “I’ll help her.” The senior walked away. “What’s wrong, sweetie?” Jennifer asked. Hearing Jennifer’s kind words, I cried even harder, saying, “It’s just too much!” Then Jennifer put her arm around me and said, “Let me instruct you.” She then guided me through the process step by step until I completely my schedule. Later when saying goodbye, we made a promise to keep in touch.

Hearing this, I felt my face turn red.
____________________________________________________________________________________________
It turned out that my secret friend was Rochelle, coming from a poor family.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
【答案】
Hearing this, I felt my face turn red. Embarrassed and ashamed, I secretly complained that the girl gave me so stupid a gift to arouse others’ derision. I even joined other girls in gossiping about my secret friend and the poor doll. When I continued with mean remarks, a girl sitting at the last row arose and came up, casting me an angry and disappointed look. With tears streaming down her face, she admitted, “I’m your secret friend and I’m sorry about the gift.” Then she ran out of the classroom. Frozen with shock, I couldn’t utter a single word.
It turned out that my secret friend was Rochelle, coming from a poor family. She had saved every penny in her pocket money in order to give me a cool gift. With the limited money, she visited a lot of stores and finally selected the lovely doll from a second-hand store. Actually, she gave me a most valuable gift with her sincere heart. However, I didn’t treasure and hurt her badly in such a cruel way. So ashamed was I that it took me a few days to pluck up my courage to face up to Rochelle and apologize. Much to my delight, she forgave me and later we became best friends. Most importantly, we found where we belonged.

【答案】I decided to invite Jack and his mother to dinner at home, hoping to thank her for her timely help. Before dinner, Jack and his mother came with a pot of flowers. During the meal, we talked about our families and work. We were very happy. I also expressed my gratitude for her help. The two children talked happily about their studies and hobbies, and giggled from time to time. Happy time always passes quickly. When they went back, my son and I were reluctant to part.
Years later, as Jack was graduating, his mother invited us to her home in return. I took my son and a pot of flowers, as she did years ago. After dinner, we talked as usual. However, through this chat, I learned that Jack’s mother had depression and anxiety before. She was very grateful for my company during these years, which had greatly improved her situation. In fact, what she didn’t know was that it was with her company that I came out of a difficult year. I reached out and hugged her. We both said “thank you” to each other.

【答案】
Sensing our helplessness, Viraaz offered to put us up in their accommodation for the night. “It’ll be crowded and small but I hope you won’t mind,” he said. I was surprised at his generosity. Necessity forced us to agree and we set off by foot towards the guesthouse. Upon our arrival, Viraaz’s family worked tirelessly with supplies to make us feel at home — food was quickly heated and shared and blankets brought out for us. The guesthouse was filled to three times its usual capacity, but everyone managed.
Our friendship has since continued for decades. We phoned each other, traveled together several times and got together regularly. Viraaz even came to live with us in Ahmedabad when he shifted to the city. We frequently went fishing together on the weekend. It was quite a wonder that this rich friendship between families started with just a half-eaten packet of biscuits at a train station. We’ve been happy about it.
