Section Ⅶ　Writing

本单元的写作项目是写一个有关生存的故事。该类作文以叙述事件为主，写作时要注意把记叙文的六要素：时间、地点、人物、事件的起因、经过和结果交代清楚。文章的末尾可以发表自己的感想。

1．开头

It has been the worst...in the past decade/ten years.

这是过去十年来最糟糕的一次……。

The disasters have killed...and destroyed...，causing...

灾难已经夺去了……摧毁……，造成了……

It is reported that the heavy rainfall caused rivers to break their banks，washing away bridges.

2．主体

The rescue work is going on/is still under way.

救援工作正/仍在进行中。

In the meantime，people nationwide are taking an active part in...for disaster areas.

与此同时，全国人民正在积极为灾区……。

It was estimated that the economic losses were more than...

据估计，经济损失超过……。

3．结尾

Earth is our only home planet.

地球是我们唯一的家园。

It is urgent for us to...，and do our best to protect it and make it a lovely place suitable to live in.
