I. Teaching Objectives

（一）Language Ability

1.                            Master key expressions for delivering a speech (e.g., First..., Next..., Finally..., In conclusion...).
2.                            Organize a speech about self-introduction based on the unit content, including personal traits, experiences of self-acceptance, and inspirations.
3.                            Deliver the speech clearly and confidently, using appropriate intonation and body language.

1.                            Understand that self-introduction styles may vary across cultures but share the core of expressing authenticity.
2.                            Recognize the value of public speaking in English-speaking contexts for personal expression and communication.

（三）Thinking Ability

1.                            Structure speech content logically to highlight key points (e.g., starting with a self-description, moving to a turning point, ending with a message).
2.                            Evaluate and improve speech drafts based on clarity and relevance to the theme "This is me."

（四）Learning Ability

1.                            Learn presentation skills such as maintaining eye contact, using pauses, and emphasizing key information.
2.                            Provide constructive feedback to peers and revise own speeches accordingly.
