Let’s read a story about Su Bingtian and check our answers.
1 "Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I'm possible’.”
Audrey Hepburn, the British actress and star of the silver
screen, said this. However, doubts and fears often hold us
back. How can we face them and succeed?
2 The runner Su Bingtian gives an excellent answer to this
question. The young man began his sporting life in 2006. At
that time, no one from Asia had ever run the 100m race in less
than 10 seconds. Su trained hard and quickly became one of
the fastest runners in Asia. In 2011, he ran the race in10.16
seconds.
3 However, Su wasn't satisfied. To run in under 10 seconds,
in 2014, he changed his starting leg. This was a very risky
decision. He had to start from zero. At first, he was slower than
before. Also, he was 25 years old. At such an age, many runners
choose to stop running. People doubted his decision. However, Su
fought his fears and became a sporting hero.
4 In 2015, he clocked 9.99 seconds and made history. In 2021, he
finished in 9.83 seconds at the Tokyo Olympics. He also became
the first Chinese athlete to run in the Olympic 100m final.
5 Su Bingtian has told youngsters, “Never let your age hold you
back. Have a try and try harder. I believe you can write your own
story.” Nothing is impossible as long as you try and stick to it.
Everyone can be a Su-perman!

Answer the questions.
1. What do you think the title means?
The title is a clever word trick. It shows that the word “impossible” can be split into “I’m possible.” It means that nothing is truly impossible if you try hard—just like Su Bingtian proved by breaking records despite doubts.
2. What do Su Bingtian's words in Paragraph 5 mean?
“Never let your age hold you back. Have a try and try harder. I believe you can write your own story.”
Don't make excuses like age or fear. Just start trying, keep working hard, and never give up. He proved this himself by breaking records even when people doubted him. His words mean everyone can achieve great things if they believe and persist – just like he did!
3. What does the writer mean by “Everyone can be a Su-perman!"?
The writer cleverly combines "Su" (Su Bingtian's last name) with "Superman" to create "Su-perman". It means anyone can be a hero like Su Bingtian if they follow his example.
Here’s a video to help us know about Su Bingtian better.

Ignore Doubters – People said he was "too old," but he made history at 32.
...
2. What can you do to challenge yourself?
To learn from successful people, you can study their
experiences and think about the reasons behind their success.
Learning to think For question 2
Step 1
Make sure what your dream or goal is and stick to it.
Step 2
Start with courage. Try new things even if they seem scary or impossible at first.
Step 3
Work step by step. Small efforts every day lead to big success.
Embrace failures. Mistakes are lessons, not endings. Su failed many races but kept running.
Step 4
Ignore limits. Age, background, or others’ opinions don’t define your potential.

就you how to do a few things and be consistent and allowing . us things to turn。 And is running. So is learning to he stronger, more powerful and here than he was fired, and he's confident that he can do this then.
So gonna, well, as you would expect, and he's absolutely flying the Youngster from china. Now they are beginning to close you down. So I think and then very, very close on the life between Jacobs and Baker. And what about that nine point eight one that was sensational. CBA was left behind, and now they . get through . fast stuff that I think the time qualifiers are both going to come from this eat, looking at the folder to see who what was gonna be. I don't. I think that is now gonna be moot. And these guys came through so quick, sue, definitively across the line, and now another anxious weight. Nine, eighty three years. Well, that up to . that is a massive, massive asian record. First four years, nine point eight to three. That is absolutely from the roney. Baker has been given second spot also nine point eight three, so that means the world Jacobs will surely have smash the italian national record again. He has done point eight four. Jack is in the final. And so to econic of a who ran nine point nine zero trink on, remember the fastest man in the world this year will not be in the final. My goodness, the firework flue are not necessarily for, we were expected. And he got a wiki checks reaction time. If IT wasn't the fastest by far, he just exploded, handles first forty meters, and the guys couldn't run them down.
impossible. I, impossible. Nothing is impossible. The word itself says I. impossible. Audrey had burn, the british actress and star of the silver screen, said this. However, double and fears often hold us back. How can we face them and succeed the runner? Sub TN gives an excEllent answer to this question. The Young man began his sporting life in twenty o six. At that time, no one from asia had ever run the one hundred meters race in less than ten seconds. Sue trained hard and quickly became one of the fastest runners in asia. In twenty eleven, he ran the race in ten point one six seconds. However, sue wasn't satisfied to run in under ten seconds. In twenty fourteen, he changed his starting leg. This was a very risky decision. He had to start from zero. At first, he was slower than before. Also he was twenty five years old. At such an age, many runners choose to stop running. People doubted his decision, however, who fought his fears and became a sporting hero. In twenty fifteen. He clock nine point nine nine seconds and made history in twenty twenty one. He finished in nine point eight three seconds at the tokyo olympics. He also became the first chinese athlete to run in the olympic of one hundred meters final sub. Tian has told Youngsters, never let your age hold you back. Have a try and try harder. I believe you can write your own story. Nothing is impossible. As long as you try and stick to IT, everyone can be a sue per man.
