A
Next time you’re in a public place, take a look around you, and see how many people are using their mobile phones. I can tell you that it is probably more than half. With the development of technology, we can now do almost anything on mobile phones. How does the mobile phones affect the young? Do they really need mobile phones? Some British parents, teachers and teenagers give their opinions on this subject.
Parents want their kids to be safe. Are teenagers safer with a mobile phone or without it? William, a parent of two kids, says. “The greatest thing about my kids having mobile phones is that I can keep in touch with them. The worst thing about teenagers having phones is that some young people use them to send impolite messages to each other.” Some parents have rules about their children’s mobile phone. If they break the rules, their phones will be kept by their parents.
In the UK, students can take their mobile phones to school, but they cannot use them in class. Some teachers complain (抱怨) that students don’t always follow the rules. They don’t listen carefully in class because they are using their phones to surf the Internet, chat with friends and so on. As for the students, most of them think phones are part of their lives. They can keep in touch with family and friends, and they can take photos, keep important information and go online, which is very convenient (方便). Some see phones as a kind of fashion and they don’t want others to see them as “out” or “different”.
It’s true that mobile phones have become a symbol of the modern life. This makes teenagers’ life much more convenient, but if teenagers depend too much on them, it can lead to serious problems. increasingly scientists are saying that everyone needs a break from mobile phones — put them away and enjoy “the real life”. In fact, it can be very easy. Next time when you go out with friends, put all of your phones in the middle of the table. Whoever touches his phone first has to pay the bill!
Indeed, the convenience brought by mobile phones is great, but don’t let your phone become more important than the “real” people in your “real” life.
26.What is the main idea of the article?
A.It is convenient for teenagers to use mobile phones.
B.Children should not play mobile phones all the time.
C.Mobile phones bring both convenience and problems to teenagers.
D.Some British parents, teachers and teenagers talked about mobile phones.
27.According to the article, what is the rule about mobile phones in UK schools?
A.Teachers take students’ phones away forever.
B.Students can use phones freely at school.
C.Students are not allowed to bring phones to school at all.
D.Mobile phones are accepted in school but not allowed in class.
28.What does the author suggest people do at the end of the article?
A.Buy the latest mobile phones to stay fashionable.
B.Focus on real-life relationships over phone usage.
C.Keep in touch with other people with your phone.
D.Do not play mobile phones when you are with other people.
【答案】26.C 27.D 28.B

You must know about the Great Wall. But did you hear of the “green Great Wall”? It’s the green belt (带) around the Taklamakan Desert (沙漠) in Xinjiang. It’s 3,046 kilometres long and our country finished it on 28th November last year.
People call the Taklamakan Desert the “sea of death”. It has many moving sand dunes (沙丘). Sandstorms (沙尘暴) from it were bad for the weather, farming, and people’s health. A great many people worked in the desert day and night. Luckily, their hard work finally paid off.

The green belt around the Taklamakan Desert sets an example for other countries with deserts. Hopefully, more countries will learn from it and take active actions to protect the environment (环境).

People usually feel excited when they go on vacation. But most people feel blue when coming home after travelling. And this feeling is called post-vacation blues. If you feel blue after travelling, here are some ways to help you get out of this bad feeling.
Give yourself a week to relax first. You don’t need to think about what to do next and just be relaxed. You can show your pet some love if you have one, watch your favourite TV shows or listen to relaxing music.
After a week, do something useful and keep yourself busy. For example, when I came back from Europe, I felt blue because I didn’t have a job and was living with my parents. So I decided to find a job and make myself busy. If you don’t need a job, just try something like painting your room or tidying your house. You can also do exercise, learn to cook, visit your friends and just do anything you like.
It’s also a good idea to make a photo book and plan your next trip. Your photos taken on vacation help you remember the good times you had. And you can plan to take another trip. Just like Elbert Hubbard said, “No man needs a vacation so much as the man who has just had one.”
Next time when you feel blue, remember to try these ways. You’ll find going back to the normal life is not that terrible as you think.
37.What does the writer advise us to do after travelling?
a. We can do something useful and keep ourselves busy after a week.
b. We should give ourselves a week to relax first.
c. We can make a photo book and keep a diary.
d. We shouldn’t stay up late but live a happy life.
e. We can remember the good times during the trip through photos.

38.The writer uses Elbert Hubbard’s words in Paragraph 4 to show ________.
A.people feel very tired and are not willing to travel again
B.people who have just had a vacation can plan a new trip
C.people are excited to share their vacation with their friends
D.people hope to travel again because they have had only one trip
39.Which is the right structure of the passage?
A. B.

To solve this problem, our country started building the green belt in 1978. It took more than 40 years to finish. Building the green belt was difficult. A great many people worked in the desert day and night. Luckily, their hard work finally paid off.
The green belt is helpful. It stops big sandstorms, makes the air clean and keeps roads and buildings safe. What’s more, it’s good for the economy (经济). For example, some of its plants can be made into medicine.

Many Chinese mothers are afraid that their children will fall behind their classmates, so these mothers are becoming “tiger mothers”. They believe the harder their children study, the happier life they will have in the future. Is it true? Lulu and her sister Sophia may have a say.
Lulu and Sophia have a “tiger mother”. She pushed them a lot when they were young. For example, they were not allowed to get grades lower than A’s. They had to practice the piano or violin for several hours a day. There were no games or TV.
The tiger mother, Amy, is a Chinese-American professor at Yale Law School in the USA.Several years ago, she wrote a book named Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother and shared her strict parenting style in it.
Many people don’t like Amy’s style of parenting. They once worried that her daughters would not be happy. However, the two girls have grown up and they are thankful to their mother.
Sophia has just graduated from Yale University. She is hard-working, friendly and helpful. Not long ago, she shared some useful studying tips online. Lulu is also a warm smart and popular girl in her friends’ eyes. She said tiger mothers believed that a child could succeed by being pushed to go all out.
Still, not everyone agrees with the tiger mother’s parenting style. In fact, there isn’t a parenting style that fits everyone. What’s the best parenting style for you? Maybe you should work it out together with your parents.

A.abd B.abe C.acd D.bce
38.The writer uses Elbert Hubbard’s words in Paragraph 4 to show ________.
A.people feel very tired and are not willing to travel again
B.people who have just had a vacation can plan a new trip
C.people are excited to share their vacation with their friends
D.people hope to travel again because they have had only one trip
39.Which is the right structure of the passage?
A. B.
C. D.
40.What is the passage mainly about?
A.How to spend your holiday happily. B.How to get out of post-holiday blues.
C.Why people have post-holiday blues. D.What we should do before travelling.

Sichuan has three different weather places because of its tall mountains and valleys (山谷). 41 And it is often cloudy, wet, and foggy in winter. In the southwest places like Panzhihua, the sun is strong and winters are very dry. 42 In the northwest places like Ganzi, summers are short and cool, but winters are long and snowy.
The rainy season is from May to October. 43 Some places get over 1800 mm, making them some of China’s wettest places.
44 For example, in Jiuzhaigou, it can be 9℃ in the morning but 30℃ at noon!
The different weather creates good things. Pandas eat in wet forests, apple trees grow on sunny mountains, and sheep walk on icy high lands. 45 It’s all because of the power of the mountains and valleys.
A.Sichuan’s weather makes life interesting.
B.Heavy rain brings 80% of a year’s water.
C.The weather can change a lot during a day.
D.The wet forests are perfect for pandas to live.
E.In fact, some areas get almost no rain for six months.
F.In the low (低的) areas like Chengdu, summers are hot.

Drones are flying robots that can be controlled remotely or by computers. In the past, they were expensive and mainly used by the military (军事). But now, cheaper drones are helping people in many fields, like rescue work and farming.
A French company created a drone called “Agridrone” to help farmers. It uses special sensors (感应器) to examine crops. By flying over fields, the drone takes pictures that show which areas need fertilizer (肥料). This helps farmers save money and reduce pollution.
Jean-Baptiste Bruggeman is a farmer who uses Agridrone. He says the drone flies over his crops at different times of the year. The pictures tell him exactly where and how much fertilizer to use. Before drones, farmers spread fertilizer everywhere, wasting money and harming the environment.
Drones also save time. They can check three hectares of land in one minute. Romain Faroux, the creator of Agridrone, says this technology is like a smartphone with wings. It uses sunlight reflections to analyze (分析) crop health.
Thanks to cheaper drones, more people are using them. They’re not just for the military anymore. Drones are becoming a powerful tool to solve real-world problems, especially in farming.
66.What is a drone?

You must know about the Great Wall. But did you hear of the “green Great Wall”? It’s the green belt (带) around the Taklamakan Desert (沙漠) in Xinjiang. It’s 3,046 kilometres long and our country finished it on 28th November last year.
People call the Taklamakan Desert the “sea of death”. It has many moving sand dunes (沙丘). Sandstorms (沙尘暴) from it were bad for the weather, farming, and people’s health.
The green belt around the Taklamakan Desert sets an example for other countries with deserts. Hopefully, more countries will learn from it and take active actions to protect the environment (环境).

请认真阅读下面短文,并根据短文内容回答问题。

67.What technology does the Agridrone use to analyze crops?
