A lot of online news is free to read. It is also updated more quickly than print and broadcast media, and is easily accessible to fit every personal schedule. In addition, online news media has made it convenient for us to share news stories with our friends. However, there are negative sides of online news media too. The huge amount of content on the Internet makes it difficult to tell what news is well researched, or even what is true at all. Besides, it is not easy to change people’s reading habits and some simply enjoy the feeling of holding a physical newspaper when reading news. For these reasons, there are still some people who choose to reject online news resources. In conclusion, it is clear that online news media will become increasingly popular in the future, though print and broadcast news media will not completely die out. These types of media will develop together to satisfy different groups of readers. As a result, in the future, more people—but not all—will get most of their news online. Thank you ! 13 $
