I. Teaching Objectives
1. Knowledge Objectives
Students will master vocabulary related to learning experiences (e.g., confidence, translator, explore, modal verbs) and understand the passage about Li Heng's English learning experiences.
Students will be able to comprehend the passage, tick the main idea, use modal verbs to complete learning tips, and categorize sentences with modal verbs.

Improve reading and grammar skills: Extract information from the passage and use modal verbs correctly.
Enhance speaking and collaborative skills: Discuss English learning strengths in pairs and share learning experiences.

III. Teaching Procedures

Activity 1: Modal Verb Sentence Categorization
Ask students to put the sentences with modal verbs in the correct columns according to their functions (Making requests, Talking about ability, Showing the possibility of something, Giving advice).
Activity 2: Learning Method Sharing
Invite students to share their favorite English learning methods and explain why they think those methods are effective, using modal verbs if possible.
Step 4: Summary & Homework
Activity 1: Lesson Summary
Recap key vocabulary and phrases (learning experience - related terms), the content of Li Heng's learning experiences, and the usage of modal verbs.
Activity 2: Homework Assignment
