Step 3
Create your guide for getting along with others.
Getting along with others is important because we
need friends and we want to be happy.
But sometimes we may argue over small things.
For example, we can’t reach an agreement on what to
do after school. I can’t understand why my friend always
wants to play video games instead of going outside. When having an argument, we need to listen to each other. We could choose to step back and think about what both of us enjoy doing.
Better relationships will help you feel happier and more confident. When you are nice to others, they are more likely to do the same. It’s good to see how kindness encourages more kindness. This makes everything better and more fun.
