文中会较多地使用,诸如since(既然),now that(既然),therefore(因而),in that case(在那种情况下),so(所以),It follows that…(因而…),If…,we may conclude that …(如果……,我们可以这样下结论……),Should it be the case (如果是这样的话……),Idon’t want to…,but…(我并不想……),It is true that…,but…(诚然……但是……),Even if …(即使……)
①并列关系:and,not only...but also,that is to say等;
②因果关系:because,for,so that,in order that,due to,thanks to,thus,therefore,so等;
③对比关系:while,whereas,as,rather than,instead of等;
④转折关系:although,though,even if,nevertheless,despite,but,yet,however,on the contrary等;
⑤递进关系:also,then,besides,in addition,furthermore,what’s more等;
⑥顺序关系:first,then,on the one hand等;
⑦转变话题:by the way,what I really mean...

My wallet was gone.”
该空指下文中提到的“the credit cards, the driver’s license, the cash”,这些都是钱包里装的东西。故选B(content):所含之物,所容纳之物。

根据下文中的转折词but可知,该句和she decided to take the chance(她决定冒险)是转折关系。

根据第一句“Wildlife has been greatly threatened in the modern age”和最后一句提到的“…the species from going out of existence”可以推知,野生动物正在遭受巨大威胁,每天都有一些物种灭绝,即:“消失”。

故选A。
根据下文中的“become deeply attached to humans…even …killing some of them”等内容可知,因为Emma一直由人类照看,所以它没有将自己看作是一只鹤,而是深深的依恋上了人类。故选A。
enable sb. to do sth.

①并列关系:and,not only...but also,that is to say等;
②因果关系:because,for,so that,in order that,due to,thanks to,thus,therefore,so等;
③对比关系:while,whereas,as,rather than,instead of等;
④转折关系:although,though,even if,nevertheless,despite,but,yet,however,on the contrary等;
⑤递进关系:also,then,besides,in addition,furthermore,what’s more等;
⑥顺序关系:first,then,on the one hand等;
⑦转变话题:by the way,what I really mean...
