Currently 30 percent is CPO and 70 percent is diesel. And it has been believed to become one of the key contributors for Indonesia’s action plan for meeting its carbon-emissions-reduction(减少碳排放)target. Of course it has an additional benefit as well in reducing Indonesia’s dependence on expensive oil imports. During a recent Group of 20 conference, an official from Indonesia’s Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry (ESDM) stated that “biofuels are vital for the development of a green economy to achieve a just and people-centered energy transition”. According to ESDM, Indonesia produced 16.3 million kiloliters (kl) of B30-biodiesel in 2021, a significant increase from 13.3 million kl in 2020, giving the government the confidence to expand the biofuel program and funding. However, the most positive direction to take is the processing of used cooking oil into biofuel as this makes use of a readily available and massively under-recycled product. Every hotel, restaurant and café has used cooking oil and then usually just throws it away, which wastes a valuable resource and pollutes the places where it goes at the same time! Recycling and processing the used cooking oil is a great way to make biofuel, which can be organized on a city level through the hotel and restaurant associations, and at the residential level through the RT/RW network. The use of CPO, while better than the use of petrol based oil, still has the stigma of the origins of the artificial forests which have all replaced primary forests over the last 50 years, and therefore cannot claim 100 percent sustainability. However, using grown and replaceable resources is better than the non-renewable route. The best of all is trying to do at least a semi-circular economy approach with the repurposing of the used cooking oil. Let us hope there will be an entire petrol-purifying plant for this in the near future as well.; 1.What contribution has the biofuel program made for Indonesia7 A.Decreasing the renewable resources. B.Helping reduce the release of carbon. C.Increasing profit by exporting biofuel. D.Gaining total independence on foreign oil. 2.What can be inferred from the third paragraph? A.Every restaurant has recycled the used cooking oil. B.We can cook with the abandoned cooking oil. C.The government is responsible for the wasted oil. D.Used cooking oil for processing biofuels is sufficient. 3.What does the underlined word“stigma” in the last paragraph probably mean? A.Minor fault. B.Challenge. C.Trick. D.Strong point. 4.What is the author’s attitude towards the future of the program? A.Reserved. B.Negative. Outside of my classroom I fearfully opened the envelope that held my academic report card. “Please, I just want to pass.” I prayed in my heart. “Promoted to fifth grade,” the report read. I was letting out a loud sigh of relief when my eyes went to the words on the bottom. “Teacher: Mrs. Walitt.” “What?” I looked closer, certain I’d misread, but now the name seemed to jump off the page in 3D.This wasn’t possible. Mrs. Walitt taught first grade. My one comfort about school was that this woman-literally my least favorite teacher on the planet-would never teach me. I was no favorite of hers either. I was self-conscious about my stutter (口吃), and tried to make up for it by speaking and reading out loud. That past year I’d been frequently pulled from my regular class for special tutoring in a room shared with Mrs. Walitt’s first graders. One day early on, Mrs. Walitt called me out from across the room. “Quiet down,” she said. “You’re interrupting us.” I instantly responded. “Oh, just leave me alone!” I said. “You’d better be glad you’re not in my class, young man. I’d put you in your place.” I’d been taught by my parents to respect my teachers. But all my frustration came pouring out of me. I said, “You will never be my teacher.” No matter how badly I did in school, I was sure I wouldn’t have to repeat first grade. For the rest of the year, Mrs. Walitt and I didn’t have much communication. Now Mrs. Walitt was having the last laugh. On the first day of fifth grade, I sat unhappy in the last row. “Welcome to fifth grade,” she announced once we were settled. “I expect students to come to school ready to learn...” She went on and on, talking about the orders. I felt quite bored. 注意:1. 续写词数应为150个左右;2. 请按如下格式在答题纸的相应位置作答。 But the moment she began teaching, an entirely different Mrs. Walitt appeared. ____________ ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ With Mrs. Walitt’s constant encouragement, my grades improved beyond belief. ___________ ________________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________________ ( 高一英语 第 1 页 共 2 页 )请妥善保存讲义资料! 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $$002 一、完形填空 1-5 BACDA6-10 CBCBA11-15 CBDAC 二、阅读理解 BDAC 三、信息还原 GDABE 四、语法填空 The contains himself what to restore from and resources has inspired/has been inspiring closely 五、书面表达 $$
