I. Material analysis

Thinking Skills:本部分为思维技能的学习,内容为细节分类。首先,学生通过阅读细节分类说明,了解该思维技能的含义。其次,学生借助图片、文本和思维导图学习如何使用图表对乐器种类进行细节分类。再次,学生阅读文本,完成细节分类图表,实践和内化所学。最后,基于活动2的图表,学生两人一组,讨论音乐的益处,尤其是音乐在特定情境中能激发创造力,帮助完成任务。本部分共有3个活动。
Reading Strategies本部分为阅读策略的学习,通过整合文本内容与已有知识,帮助学生推断并总结文本中的隐含之意。首先,学生阅读关于京剧大师梅兰芳的语段,学习和理解推断总结的阅读策略。其次,学生阅读与京剧大师梅兰芳相关的另一语段,结合文本内容和已有知识,做出合理的推断与总结。最后,学生运用推断总结阅读策略,阅读关于著名画家齐白石的新文本,按步骤完成推断和总结。本部分共有3个活动。
II. Teaching aims
通过本课的学习,学生能够:
1. 运用细节分类思维技能,绘制图表,培养逻辑思维和创新思维,了解音乐、戏曲、绘画方面的艺术形式,形成健康向上的审美情趣,加深对中华文化的理解和认同;
2. 运用推断总结的阅读策略,整合文本内容与已有知识,推断并总结作者的隐含之意,提升阅读技巧和信息处理能力;
3. 绘制细节分类图表,组织语言,主次分明地描述音乐的益处,提高表达能力和知识应用水平。
III. Teaching procedures
课时教学内容概述
本课时为思维技能和阅读策略的学习。
Thinking Skills部分为“细节分类”思维技能的学习。Activity 1为学习理解类活动。通过呈现图片、文本及细节分类图表,帮助学生通过细节分类图表提取、整理、概括文本信息,初步认识和应用该思维技能。Activity 2为应用实践类活动。要求学生阅读文本内容完成细节分类图表,巩固和内化Activity 1中所学技能。Activity 3为迁移创新类活动。要求学生两人一组,根据细节分类图表对音乐的益处进行讨论,帮助学生牢固掌握细节分类的思维技能,培养学生的发散性思维,运用所学内容完成任务。
Reading Strategies部分为“推断总结”阅读策略的学习,帮助学生将文本内容与已有知识建立联系,推断并总结文本的隐含之意。Activity 1和Activity 2为学习理解和应用实践类活动。学生通过观察图片和阅读文本,结合文本内容与已知信息,推断并总结文本的隐含之意。Activity 3为迁移创新类活动。在新语境下,学生运用所学阅读策略,整合新文本的内容,结合已有知识,推断文本背后的意义。

1. Read and understand the thinking skill of classifying details.
2. Observe the pictures in Activity 1 and answer the questions:
· How many musical instruments can you see in the picture? What are they?
· Can you classify them?
· What might the text be about?

5. Read the new text in Activity 3 to practice “drawing conclusions” strategy.
