Below is a passage about the problems that might be caused by the widespread use of drones. Complete the passage with the present continuous or future continuous form of the verbs or phrase in the box below.
develop fly get use take off
For better or for worse, the widespread use of drones will affect our lives in different ways. It is certain that as technology gets more advanced, more drones (1) ____________ in the sky. Despite all the wonderful functions that drones preform, they may also cause trouble.
Take air traffic for example. When passenger drones are flying above our cities in large quantities, the sky (2) ____________ more and more crowded. As a result, they are more likely to crash into each other. In addition, drones cause much trouble for airlines as some of them fly near airports, posing a threat to planes that (3) ___________ or landing.
will be flying
will be getting
are taking off
Another risk is that people might take advantage of drones to harm others. For instance, as more people (4) ___________ drones for photography in the future, some might spy on and take photographs of others without their knowledge. Illegal hunters might also use drones to track and kill animals.
Such issues must be addressed. The government needs to make laws to monitor the production and use of drones. For example, in some countries, a remote pilot licence is required in order to fly a drone for business purposes. At the moment, different countries (5) _____________ air traffic control systems that can manage large numbers of drones. Grammar
This time next day they will be sitting in the cinema.
Please don't call me between 8:00 and 10:00 tomorrow. I'll be
having my classes then.
2. 基本结构:will/shall be doing
(1)肯定句:主语+will/shall be+doing+...
例句:The minister will be giving a speech on international affairs in July.
(2)否定句:主语+will/shall not be+doing+...
例句:They won’t be playing football on Sunday morning.
Will you be using your bicycle this evening?
When shall I be expecting you this evening?
We will be seeing a fashion show this time tomorrow.
I’ll be taking my holidays soon.
Will you be telephoning him tomorrow?
I will go to Shanghai tomorrow.
I will be going to Shanghai tomorrow.
They will be watching football game now.
It’s Sunday. She won’t be studying now.
Will you be needing anything else?
When will you be coming to see me?
Will you be lending me your bike?
Be careful when you are crossing the street.
What will you be doing at seven the day after tomorrow?
What will you do at seven the day after tomorrow?
I’ll be going to see him after school.
I’ll go to see him after school.
When will you be finishing your homework?
When will you finish your homework?
Mary won’t be paying this bill.
Mary won’t pay this bill.
例句:I am seeing Tom tomorrow.
I'll be seeing Tom tomorrow.
