Understand simple conversations about making and responding to household requests, extract key information, and complete corresponding listening tasks. 3. Use "Could you please…?" and its affirmative and negative responses for oral communication. Make requests accurately and give appropriate responses with reasonable explanations, thereby improving the fluency, accuracy, and coherence of their oral expression and enhancing their communicative competence. Ⅱ. Language Knowledge 1. Key words & phrases: arrival, yet, add, biscuit, borrow, plan, treasure, hunt, lift; can't wait to do sth; add sth to sth; make sb feel at home; go shopping; treasure hunt; give sb a lift 2. Key sentences (1) I can't wait to show them our new house! (2) — Mum, could you take me to the flower shop later? — No problem. (3) — Dad, could you please give me a lift to the shop this afternoon? — Sorry, but I have to work from home all day. Ⅱ. Teaching Procedures 3. Key and challenging points: (1) Use the modal verb "could" correctly to make polite requests and seek permission. (2) Apply listening strategies to understand topic-related dialogues and accurately extract information.
