1. know about Alan’s life about living without a smartphone for a week;
2. reflect on how to use smartphone in a smart way;
3. give some suggestions to those who are addicted to smartphones.

Step 1 Lead-in
1. Watch a video
2. Ask students the following questions:
(1)Do you have a smartphone?
(2)What do you usually do with your smartphone?
(3)What would you do if you had to live without a smartphone on holidays?
