Lead - in to 1a Say: “Today, we’ll talk about events we missed and practice telling stories with the past continuous tense, just like you did.” II. 1a Activity – Storytelling Practice (8 mins) Instruction Explain 1a: “Think of a time you were late or couldn’t go to an event.
