I. Learning objectives
1.巩固一般过去时的用法,包括 be 动词和实义动词在一般过去时中的否定句形式、一般疑问句形式及回答方式、特殊疑问句形式;
2.在实际语境中准确运用一般过去时进行表达。
II. Learning procedures
Step I. Lead-in
1. Show my WeChat Moments and ask two questions:(带着以下两个问题看视频)
(1) When was the vlog?(视频是什么时候的?)
(2) Which tense should we use?(我们应该用什么时态?)
2. Watch my vlog of last weekend and answer the two questions above.
Step II. Presentation:
1. The Past Time
Review time markers in the past simple tense.
2. Verb Forms
Read four sentences from the vlog, pay attention to verb forms, and review the rules about how to change verbs to past tense.
(1) I visited Xiamen Underwater World with her.
(2) We watched the sunset by the sea.
(3) Then, we took a ship to Gulangyu.
(4) Finally, we were tired.
