C Every year, one wind blew from spring to winter and there were neither birds in the sky nor grass on the ground. This was a true picture of what Baijitan used to be seventy years ago. Today, from the top of the sand hill in Baijitan, you can see green sandy plants growing here and there. Between the windbreak belts (挡风带), squares of wheat straw cover the sand hills like a huge golden net which firmly locks the formerly rushing yellow sand in. How Ningxia has controlled the sands is a touching story. 70 years ago, the sky was usually filled with sands and yellow clouds. Even the cities hundreds of kilometers away were threatened. To stop the desert moving south, the central government gave an order to stop the desertification (沙漠化). In those years, people lacked food and clothing, but this didn’t weaken their courage and determination. So millions of people in Ningxia took action to fight against the desert. There were no modern machines in the past. All they had were only their two hands besides simple tools. Braving the winter cold and the summer sun, they began to plant trees and grass. With several generations’ joint efforts, Ningxia has taken on a new look. The former desert has been turned into a green land with trees and grass, among which birds are singing and dancing happily in spring and summer. Recently, a delegation (代表团) from the United Nations came to Ningxia and took a field trip. “This is not just a victory for the Chinese people,” said Mr. Smith, who is from Africa. “This provides a valuable lesson for many countries that are threatened by desertification.” 28.What is the main change in Baijitan over the past seventy years? A.Ecological conditions are getting better. B.Birds and grass have returned to the area. C.The sand hills have been completely flattened. D.The wind has stopped blowing from spring to winter. 29.What can be inferred about the people of Ningxia from the passage? A.They were well-equipped with resources and technology to fight desertification. B.Their determination was stronger than their lack of food and clothing. C.The central government’s order was not taken seriously by the local population. D.The cities hundreds of kilometers away were unaffected by the sandstorms. 30.What contributed to Ningxia’s transformation from a desert to a green land? A.Modern machines and advanced technology. B.Large numbers of trees and plants from other regions. C.The hard work and willpower of several generations. D.The natural recovery without any human participation. 31.What do Mr. Smith’s words imply? A.He suggests that desertification is a significant problem all around the world. B.He believes that China’s achievement is only applicable to its own country. C.He is doubtful about the effectiveness of China’s approach in fighting desertification. D.He sees China’s success as a model for other countries facing the same issue. D Nezha is a classic character from ancient Chinese mythology. Nezha's earliest roots can be traced back to ancient Indian Buddhist mythology. In Indian mythology, there is a deity named Nezha (Natakuvarā). He is the third son of Vaisravana, a Buddhist protector god, who later evolved into Li Tota in Chinese culture. Powerful and brave, Nezha often accompanied Vaisravana in defeating demons and evil spirits. As Buddhism(佛教) spread to China, this character was introduced and gradually became more Chinese in style. Over centuries, Nezha's image and stories became increasingly rich and uniquely Chinese through deep integration (整合)with local culture. In the Daoist mythology(道教神话) system, he transformed into a powerful protective deity(神). Riding on wind and fire wheels and wielding magical weapons like the Qiankun Ring and Huntian Silk, Nezha emerged as a young hero with extraordinary powers. Classic mythical novels during the Ming period like “Fengshen Yanyi ” and “Journey to the West” played a crucial role in shaping Nezha's legendary status. “Fengshen Yanyi ” reveals his dramatic origin: he is the third son of General Li Jing from Chentang, born after an astonishing three-and-a-half-year pregnancy. Nezha shows rebellious spirit and bravery shine through stories, such as his bold confrontation with the Dragon King's son, Ao Bing, and his dramatic act of pulling out dragon tendons. In Journey to the West, Nezha battles the Monkey King, Sun Wukong, when he helps Li Tota try to conquer Flower-Fruit Mountain, further highlighting his martial skills and great powers. Today, the mythological figure of Nezha continues to inspire various forms of art. Memorable adaptations have emerged in film and television, including early animated movie Nezha Conquers the Dragon King(《哪咤闹海》), the popular 2019 film " Ne Zha: I Am The Destiny," and the recent hit "Nezha 2," all showcasing the captivating(迷人的) charm of Nezha's story. Beyond the screen, Nezha's iconic image appears in paintings, sculptures, and toys, solidifying his status as a timeless symbol of Chinese cultural creativity and imagination. 32. According to the passage, which culture did Nezha first originate from? A. Chinese Taoism B. Indian Buddhism C. Ancient Greek mythology D. Japanese Shinto religion 33. Why has Nezha's image become rich and unique in Chinese culture? A. He is highly involved in Chinese culture. B. His original image in Hindu mythology. C. His performance in Journey to the West. D. His successful performance in modern films. 34. According to Paragraph 5, what is special about Nezha's birth? A. He was the third son of General Li Jing. B. He was born with a magical weapon. C. I had three months before college started, and I found it hard to choose a career path. My choices were limited. I could become a doctor or an engineer, or go into finance (金融) after getting a business degree. I wasn’t interested in engineering, so I was left with medicine or business. I couldn’t decide. My uncle, one of the elders in the family, suggested that I be a one-month intern (毕业实习生) at an international company and then a one-month intern at a hospital. After that, I could make a decision. It seemed like a great idea. I was accepted as a one-month intern at a foreign bank. I learned how the finance world worked, made new friends, and enjoyed the relaxing working environment. The month passed quickly, and I started working at a leading hospital. This experience was completely different. The hospital was very demanding. The days started at 7 am (compared to 9 am at the bank) and were full of endless duties. It was crazy. I began thinking about my two experiences. The bank offered a more relaxing working environment, better working hours, and less stress. The hospital was full of excitement and something unpredictable (难以预料的), but the studying and training were very hard. It seemed like business was going to win. In the last few days of my hospital internship, I was driving home after a very busy night. On the way, I saw an old man and an old woman standing by the road, looking very worried. I pulled over and asked what was wrong. The old man told me that his wife suddenly felt very sick and needed to go to the hospital immediately. Hearing this, I decided to help them. 注意: 1.续写词数应为150个左右; 2.请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。 I quickly got the old man and his wife into my car. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________The next day, I went to see the old man and his wife. ________________________________________________________________________________________ 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $$ 听力:1 A 2 C 3 A 4 B 5 C 6 A 7 B 8 C 9 A 10 C 11 C 12 A 13 B 14 B 15 A 16 B 17 B 18 B 19 A 20 C 阅读:21 C 22 B 23 D 24 B 25 A 26 B 27 C 28 A 29 B 30 C 31 D 32 B 33 A 34 C 35 B 36 G 37 D 38 A 39 F 40 C 完型:41.C 42.B 43.D 44.B 45.A 46.A 47.B 48.C 49.D 50.A 51.C 52.B 53.D 54.A 55.D 语法填空56. traditional 57. where 58. was sent 59. to stay 60. the 61. of 62. newly 63. published 64. babies 65. leaving 写作 第一节 An Amazing Chinese Festival One of my favorite Chinese traditional festivals is the Mid-Autumn Festival. It is celebrated on the15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar when the moon is at its fullest and brightest. This festival has a rich history spanning over 3,000 years. Chinese people worshiped the moon to give thanks for the harvest and to encourage the “harvest-giving light" to return in the coming year. Nowadays the full moon is a symbol of family reunions. Families gather to admire the full moon while enjoying tasty mooncakes whose round shape and sweet flavor symbolize completeness and sweetness. The Mid-Autumn Festival holds deep cultural significance in Chinese tradition. It symbolizes unity and harmony within families, much like how the full moon brings everyone together under its light. 第二节 读后续写 【答案】I quickly got the old man and his wife into my car. I drove fast back to the hospital. On the way, I felt nervous, afraid of missing the best time for treatment. When we arrived at the hospital, I helped the old man take his wife to the emergency room. After the doctors started treating the old man’s wife, I quietly left the hospital. However, that night, I could hardly sleep. The old man’s face and his wife’s painful expression kept appearing in my mind. The next day, I went to see the old man and his wife. Their whole family stood up with grateful smiles on their faces. The old man held my hand and started crying. “Son, you are a kind person,” he repeated over and over again. After comforting them, I walked over to the old man’s wife. She tried to smile and held my hand. However, we didn’t speak any words. That day, I felt very excited and happy, which was the best mood I had ever experienced. Driving home that evening, I knew I had found my career path — medicine. 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $$
