【What】本节课选自译林版高中英语(2020年版)必修第三册Unit3 Reading: The Internet: a world without frontiers。 本课为一节45分钟的阅读课。本板块的话题是“网络是无疆世界”, 旨在引导学生辩证看待互联网的利弊。文章介绍了互联网的强大功能:它把全世界连接成一个共享社区;它给人类生活带来种种好处,比如它能够快捷地提供人类所需的海量信息;其电子商务提供的各种商品和服务给我们带来了生活上的便利;它还能帮助人们建立和保持社交联系。但与此同时,网络也存在一些问题,我们应该注意合理利用,对于事物要有全面的认识。同时呼吁学生要利用好网络好的方面,提升自我,而不是沉迷网络,同时要防范网络使用过程中可能遇到的安全问题,包括网络诈骗、网络病毒等。
【Why】文章在介绍互联网给人类生活带来种种便利的同时,也指出了其存在的一些问题,由此引发学生对网络的优点的认识以及弊端的思考,引发学生对于如何利用网络便捷生活和学习的探讨,培养学生的思辨能力,使学生成为一个明智的网络使用者。
【How】文章的语篇类型为议论文,结构清晰,逻辑缜密。首段表明论点,二三四段作为全文主体,列举了三个网络的优点: 提供大量信息,便捷了生活,帮助我们建立和维系社会关系,第五段是总结段,它指出尽管互联网有巨大的优势,却也存在一些问题,建议人们要合理利用网络。全文采取了总分总的结构,是一篇标准的议论文格式,在论证每一段的网络优点时,作者用举例论证、作比较等写作手法说明了段落中心句的论点。在衔接手段上,使用了很多逻辑词,如one of the greatest advantages,also, above all else,however等,学生可以快速定位关键信息,把握文章结构和段落大意。
学情分析:
本次授课班级为我校高一年级19班的学生,选科为物理方向,男生居多,大部分学生对英语的学习态度端正,也存在学生不喜欢上英语课的现象,学生英语单科平均分为60分(满分150分),学生喜欢思考,大多数学生畏惧用英语表达,对于许多单词的发音需要教师纠正,句子的翻译存在中式英语,语法错误等问题。经过高一上学期的学习,大部分学生掌握了文本类型的判断方法,能够通过扫读、略读快速掌握文章大意。
