Unit 1-knowing me, knowing you Interpersonal relationship & Saying no politely listening & speaking Learning objectives To learn to deal with interpersonal relationship problems. To learn some pronunciation skills, such as linking sounds(连读), loss of plosive(失爆) and assimilation(同化). To learn how to refuse politely by doing some listening exercises. (P7-activity4) Try to forgive someone when they apologise. It’s not easy for anyone to say sorry. 1 It’s not a good idea to criticise someone in front of others. This can cause embarrassment. 2 It’s important to tell the truth. Don’t lie. 3 Don’t judge someone too quickly. It takes time to understand a person. 4 Don’t always complain about people.
