China has many traditional stories that show its history and ideas. My favorite Chinese story is Yu Gong Moves a Mountain. This story is about an old man named Yu Gong. He lived in a village blocked by two big mountains. So he decided to move the mountains to make a way for his children and grandchildren. He and his family worked hard every day. People laughed at him, but he said his children would continue the work until the mountains were gone.
I like this story because it shows the power of hard work. It teaches us to never give up, even when the task seems impossible. This story shows the wisdom of Chinese people. It encourages us to face challenges with bravery and effort.
