【教学目标】
1.通过复习英语发音中使用升调的规则和含义,学生可以根据语境的需要正确使用升调,使口语表达更加准确和自然。
2.根据说话者的内容、发音、语调、速度和停顿来区分态度。
3.了解不同文化背景的人所珍视的道德价值观和良好品质,如善良、奉献、无私、正直、责任等
4.区分什么是道德困境,客观分析和推理困难人群做出不同选择的可能结果和影响,打破二元思维模式,学会全面、客观、理性地看待问题,从而对道德和人性有更深入的思考和理解。
【教学重难点】
1.帮助学生理解“道德困境”的定义。
2.引导学生根据说话者的内容和语调确定其态度或情绪。
3.鼓励学生对道德困境发表具体意见和看法。
【教学过程】
Step1 leading in
1. Watch videos to define moral dilemmas.
2. Students look at pictures about moral dilemmas, tell them what they see in the pictures, and propose a theme.
A. What are the two possible choices that this boy could make?
B. What would happen if he helped this old woman?
C. What would happen if he didn't help this old woman?
D. What should you do?
E. What would you do?
Step2 while-listening
1. Students listen to the first part of the conversation and complete the "Situation" and "Girl's Choice" questions in the table.
2. Students work in pairs to discuss and predict what will happen next.
3. Methods of student brainstorming and listening attitude.
Step4 post-listening
1. Students collectively discuss Lin Qiaozhi's excellent qualities.
2. Talk about what you would do if you encountered the same situation as a girl.
Step5 Homework
1. Copy the vocabulary list of moral faraway words 4E1C phrases 2E1C and memorize them.
2. Recite 14 levels of middle school vocabulary.
3. Pre-reading and thinking.
