重难点09 宾语从句(易错点+中考练场)
【命题规律】
在广东省中考英语中,宾语从句和状语从句的命题规律具有一定的稳定性与侧重点。
对于宾语从句,引导词的考查较为频繁。当从句为陈述句时,常考 that 的使用(有时可省略);若从句是一般疑问句,多考查 if 或 whether 的选择;针对特殊疑问句,特殊疑问词则成为引导词考点。语序方面,命题者会设置疑问句语序的干扰项,考查学生是否清楚宾语从句需用陈述语序这一规则。时态呼应也是关键,若主句是一般现在时,从句可根据实际情况选用时态;主句为一般过去时,从句需用相应过去时态,此类规则常被用于命题。
【解答技巧】
1. 引导词判断:
陈述句作宾语从句:从句语义完整,用 “that” 引导,“that” 在从句中不充当成分,口语中常可省略。例如:“He said (that) he was happy.”
一般疑问句作宾语从句:用 “if” 或 “whether” 引导,意为 “是否”。但在 “or not” 前、与 “to do” 结构连用时,常用 “whether”。如:“I don't know whether he will come or not.”;“She doesn't know whether to go there.”
特殊疑问句作宾语从句:特殊疑问词(what、who、where、when 等)充当引导词,它们在从句中要充当相应成分。例如:“Can you tell me where he lives?”,“where” 在从句中作地点状语。
2. 语序调整:宾语从句要用陈述语序,即 “主语 + 谓语” 结构。例如:“Do you know what his name is?”,不能写成 “Do you know what is his name?”。解题时,看到从句是疑问句语序,可直接排除。
3. 时态呼应:
主句是一般现在时:从句可根据实际情况使用任何时态。如:“He says he is reading a book now.”;“He says he will go to Beijing tomorrow.”
主句是一般过去时:从句要用相应的过去时态,如一般过去时、过去进行时、过去将来时等。例如:“He said he was ill.”;“He said he would come back soon.” 但从句表示客观真理或普遍事实时,仍用一般现在时,如:“The teacher said the earth moves around the sun.”

一般疑问句变宾语从句
用 if 或 whether 引导,意为 “是否”。以下情况常用 whether:与 or not 直接连用;位于动词不定式之前;作介词宾语
I'm not sure whether he will come or not.She doesn't know whether to go.It depends on whether it will rain tomorrow.
if 和 whether 多数情况下可互换,但要注意只能用 whether 的特殊情形
特殊疑问句变宾语从句
由原来的特殊疑问词(what、who、where 等)引导,特殊疑问词在从句中充当相应成分,如主语、宾语、定语、状语等

将特殊疑问句变为宾语从句时,要把疑问句语序调整为陈述语序,同时特殊疑问词要在从句中准确充当成分
语序
宾语从句必须使用陈述语序,即 “主语 + 谓语” 结构
错误:Do you know where is the hospital? 正确:Do you know where the hospital is?
特殊疑问词作主语时,其本身语序就是陈述语序,变为宾语从句时无需调整,如:Who broke the window? 变为宾语从句是 I don't know who broke the window.
时态呼应
主句为一般现在时
从句可以根据实际表达需要,选用任何时态
He says he is reading a book now. (现在进行时)She knows he has finished his homework. (现在完成时)They think he will come tomorrow. (一般将来时)

主句为一般过去时
从句要用相应的过去时态,如一般过去时、过去进行时、过去将来时、过去完成时等。但如果从句表达的是客观真理、科学事实、格言警句等具有普遍真实性的内容,无论主句时态如何,从句都用一般现在时
He said he went to the park yesterday. (一般过去时)She told me she was watching TV at that time. (过去进行时)He said he would visit his grandparents next week. (过去将来时)They knew he had left before they arrived. (过去完成时)The teacher said the earth moves around the sun. (客观真理,一般现在时)
当从句中有明确的过去时间状语时,即使主句是一般现在时,从句也常用一般过去时,例如:He knows she went to Beijing last week.

【解答技巧】
1. 引导词判断:
陈述句作宾语从句:从句语义完整,用 “that” 引导,“that” 在从句中不充当成分,口语中常可省略。例如:“He said (that) he was happy.”
一般疑问句作宾语从句:用 “if” 或 “whether” 引导,意为 “是否”。但在 “or not” 前、与 “to do” 结构连用时,常用 “whether”。如:“I don't know whether he will come or not.”;“She doesn't know whether to go there.”
特殊疑问句作宾语从句:特殊疑问词(what、who、where、when 等)充当引导词,它们在从句中要充当相应成分。例如:“Can you tell me where he lives?”,“where” 在从句中作地点状语。
2. 语序调整:宾语从句要用陈述语序,即 “主语 + 谓语” 结构。例如:“Do you know what his name is?”,不能写成 “Do you know what is his name?”。解题时,看到从句是疑问句语序,可直接排除。
3. 时态呼应:
主句是一般现在时:从句可根据实际情况使用任何时态。如:“He says he is reading a book now.”;“He says he will go to Beijing tomorrow.”
主句是一般过去时:从句要用相应的过去时态,如一般过去时、过去进行时、过去将来时等。例如:“He said he was ill.”;“He said he would come back soon.” 但从句表示客观真理或普遍事实时,仍用一般现在时,如:“The teacher said the earth moves around the sun.”

if 和 whether 多数情况下可互换,但要注意只能用 whether 的特殊情形
特殊疑问句变宾语从句
由原来的特殊疑问词(what、who、where 等)引导,特殊疑问词在从句中充当相应成分,如主语、宾语、定语、状语等

将特殊疑问句变为宾语从句时,要把疑问句语序调整为陈述语序,同时特殊疑问词要在从句中准确充当成分

宾语从句必须使用陈述语序,即 “主语 + 谓语” 结构
错误:Do you know where is the hospital? 正确:Do you know where the hospital is?
特殊疑问词作主语时,其本身语序就是陈述语序,变为宾语从句时无需调整,如:Who broke the window? 变为宾语从句是 I don't know who broke the window.
时态呼应
主句为一般现在时
从句可以根据实际表达需要,选用任何时态
He says he is reading a book now. (现在进行时)She knows he has finished his homework. (现在完成时)They think he will come tomorrow. (一般将来时)

从句要用相应的过去时态,如一般过去时、过去进行时、过去将来时、过去完成时等。但如果从句表达的是客观真理、科学事实、格言警句等具有普遍真实性的内容,无论主句时态如何,从句都用一般现在时
He said he went to the park yesterday. (一般过去时)She told me she was watching TV at that time. (过去进行时)He said he would visit his grandparents next week. (过去将来时)They knew he had left before they arrived. (过去完成时)The teacher said the earth moves around the sun. (客观真理,一般现在时)
当从句中有明确的过去时间状语时,即使主句是一般现在时,从句也常用一般过去时,例如:He knows she went to Beijing last week.
