Yang Liwei was born in an ordinary family in Liaoning Province in 1965. he became a pilot(飞行员) of the Chinese Air Force in 1987. It took him five years to become a spaceman.
Yang Liwei was sent into space by China's Shenzhou Ⅴ spacecraft on October 15th, 2003. He landed safely the next day, making China the third country successfully sending a person into space after the former Soviet Union(前苏联) and the USA.

Abraham Lincoln was born in Kentucky in 1809. His mother died when he was ten years old. Later his family moved to Illinois and his father remarried. The family was poor, so they had to struggle just to live. In Illinois there were neither teachers nor schools, but Lincolns stepmother encouraged him to study. He learned to read and write while working on the farm.
