Choose right reading materials (材料).

Don’t try to understand everything.
As you’re practicing your reading, you need to accept the fact that you might not understand every single word, and that’s OK! Your brain can’t learn so many new things at one time. It’s more important to get the big picture of what you are reading. 14

People often set many alarms to wake themselves up for fear of oversleeping. However, this can be bad for one’s health because it makes sleep quality poorer, according to Brandon Peters, a doctor from Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Seattle, US.
26 Each cycle has four stages. During stage one, we go into a light sleep. Our body relaxes and our heartbeat slows. As we fall deeper into sleep, stage two begins. Our eyes stop moving and our body temperature drops. Then comes the third stage which is the deepest sleep and also the hardest for people to wake up from.
Last is the fourth stage, known as rapid eye movement sleep (快速眼动睡眠), or REM sleep. 27 At the same time, our breathing picks up and our heartbeat rises.
REM sleep is very important because most of our dreams take place during it. This allows our brain to process emotions. For example, it can help reduce negative emotions that accumulated (积累) during the day. 28 When we get enough REM sleep, it is easier to focus on studying the next day, said the National Sleep Foundation of the US.
REM sleep mostly takes place in the last hours of a night’s sleep. If this stage is disrupted (中断) repeatedly, people will increase risks of mental ills. 29
“My general advice is that you set one alarm,” said Alicia Roth at the Cleveland Clinic in the US. 30
A.So it is a bad idea to disrupt it with alarms ringing one after another.
B.She also suggested that people try alarms that use light, not sound, to wake up.
C.A good sleep happens in cycles according to Medical News Today.
D.REM sleep also helps the brain turn the new knowledge learned during the day into memories.
E.Our eyes move rapidly from side to side during this stage.
