Each country has many good people who help look after others. For example, some high school and college (大学) students in the United States often spend many hours as volunteers in the hospitals, orphanages(孤儿院) or the old people’s homes. Other young volunteers go and work in the homes of people who are sick or old. They paint, clean up or repair their houses, or do their shopping or mow their lawns (修剪草坪).
