Easter is a happy time in many countries. After Christmas, it is the most interesting holiday. It began as an important religious (宗教的) festival, but it is also a special time now. Most people visit their families or friends in the festival.
The most important Easter tradition is to give each other Easter eggs, because eggs are the symbol (象征) of new life. People coloured chicken eggs in the past, but today they give each other chocolate eggs.
An interesting game in the festival is looking for eggs. Parents put chocolate eggs in the garden, and then children go out to look for them. When they find the eggs, they can eat them.
