冲刺2025年中考英语必考题型终极预测(福建专用) 专题06 说明文阅读15篇(名校模拟+地区真题) (2024·福建泉州·二模)To imagine what humans will look like in the future, people must first understand what different human species (物种) looked like in the past, said Kira Westaway, a senior teacher at the department of environmental sciences at Macquarie University in Australia. “The whole idea is to just get people pay attention to science!” Kira Westaway told Xinhua at the Sydney Science Week to explore the secrets of human species. As part of the program, 75 children between the age of 5 —10 will be given the task to draw their own future human race. “It’s really interesting for kids, so they can get a sense of who they are and how they have become to look the way they are,” Westaway explained. “We are looking at environmental challenges, what is the environment going to look like in the future?” According to Westaway, it’s possible to think that future humans will have shorter legs because people usually sit for a long time. It could also be likely that people will have much larger eyes in the years to come, as pollution in the air may make the sunlight not so bright and we can’t see very clearly. Some even point to the possibility of evolving with webbed feet (蹼足) if the sea levels continue to rise. “It’s great for kids to understand that connection between the environments and how important the environment is for us and how that will influence us in the future,” Westaway said. Westaway’s lifelong work examining humans gives her a vantage (有利的) point in which to forecast what changes may develop in the human race. 1.What will the 75 children be asked to do? A.Picture the future humans. B.Get a sense of who they are. C.Discover how they have become. D.Imagine their future challenges. 2.According to Paragraph 4, future humans will be ________. A.long-lived B.strange C.bright D.creative 3.What does the underlined word “evolving” in Paragraph 4 probably mean in Chinese? A.追寻 B.实验 C.进化 D.逃避 4.What can we know about Westaway? A.He is a university professor. B.He works for Sydney Science Week. C.He is good at protecting environment. D.He is devoted to examining humans. 5.What does the text mainly talk about? A.What effect the environment has on humans. B.How human species developed in the past. C.Why science is great to humans. D.Who explores human secrets. 根据“As part of the program, 75 children between the age of 5 —10 will be given the task to draw their own future human race.”可知,75个孩子被要求描绘未来的人类。故选A。 2.推理判断题。根据“According to Westaway, it’s possible to think that future humans will have shorter legs because people usually sit for a long time. This wonderful train can reach a test speed of 450 kilometers per hour and an operating speed of 400 km/h. When it starts to be used for business, it will be the quickest high-speed train in the world, much faster than the CR400 that runs at 350 km/h. The China State Railway Group, which made this train, said that the CR450 has set new global standards in many important parts like speed, using less energy, making less noise, and braking performance. Even though it goes at a higher speed, its braking is as good as the 350 km/h trains. This is because of the great engineering that keeps the train safer at high speeds than other vehicles. The CR450 also cares a lot about making passengers feel comfortable. By using good noise-cutting technology, the inside of the train is quieter than that of the 350 km/h trains. Also, What’s more, its running resistance (阻力) has been decreased by 22% and its weight has been reduced by 10%, which helps to save energy. The inside has been made again, with 4% more room, and there are better places to put luggage (行李) . But if you overheard a British person say, “A Billy left some bees and honey in my sherbet (冰冻果露) last night,” would you understand what they meant? Probably not, but many native speakers may not know what this person was saying either. The example above was a sentence that a London taxi driver might say to another member of his or her tribe. In plain English, the sentence would be, “A customer left some money in my cab last night.” So, what exactly is meant by “tribe”? A recent article on the BBC Culture website pointed out that nearly all of us are a part of a tribe. This is a group that defines (定义) who we are and even how we speak. And with each tribe comes its own “secret language”, as the BBC called it. If you work in a certain industry-education, for example, you may use slang words (俚语) and acronyms (首字母缩略词) that only other people who work in that industry would understand. Or if you live in a certain city, you might use a slang word to describe a landmark in the city, which only locals would understand. These so-called secret languages each have their own fascinating history. In the US, for example, the underground “ballroom” (舞厅) tribe of 1970s and 80s New York City and its language were showed in the 2018 FX show Pose. These secret words don’t always stay within their tribes, however. Words from many tribes, especially musical cultures such as rap and hip-hop, often enter people’s everyday vocabulary. For example, the phrase “to have beef” —meaning “to be in a conflict (冲突) ” —was made popular by US rappers. Today, it’s widely used by native English speakers all over the world. As BBC reporter Susie Dent wrote, “We are all surrounded by amazing secret languages, full of history and stories and in-jokes. And one thing is certain: our tribal conversations will never run out.” 1.The example at the beginning of the text is mainly used ________. A.to prove that English is hard to learn B.to explain the meaning of tribes C.to teach readers how to communicate with London taxi drivers D.to show the languages of tribes are often difficult to understand 2.According to this passage, what does “tribe” refer to? A.All members of a family. B.Workers in a certain company. C.A group or class of people. D.People living in the same city. 3.What can we know about “secret languages”? A.They mostly came from musical cultures. B.Some words from them are popular in everyday conversation. C.They first started in London in the 1980s. D.They have failed to become popular among young people. 4.What is Dent’s attitude towards the future of secret languages? A.Confident. B.Worried. C.Uninterested. D.doubtful. 5.Which of the following shows the structure of the passage? (①= Paragraph 1) A.①②③/④⑤/⑥ B.①/②③④⑤/⑥ C.①②/③④⑤/⑥ D.①②/③④/⑤⑥ 【答案】1.D 2.C 3.B 4.A 5.C 【导语】本文是一篇说明文。主要讲述各地的不同群体都有自己独特的语言。 1.推理判断题。根据文章开头所举例子“A Billy left some bees and honey in my sherbet (冰冻果露) last night,”以及后面的解释“A customer left some money in my cab last night.”可知,这个例子是为了说明不同群体(部落)有自己的“秘密语言”,外人很难理解,也就是为了表明部落的语言常常难以理解。故选D。 2.词义猜测题。根据文中“This is a group that defines (定义) who we are and even how we speak. And with each tribe comes its own ‘secret language’”可知,“tribe”指的是一群人或一个群体。故选C。 3.细节理解题。根据文中“Words from many tribes, especially musical cultures such as rap and hip-hop, often enter people’s everyday vocabulary.”可知,一些来自“秘密语言”的词汇在日常对话中很流行。故选B。 4.推理判断题。根据文中“As BBC reporter Susie Dent wrote, ‘We are all surrounded by amazing secret languages, full of history and stories and in-jokes. And one thing is certain: our tribal conversations will never run out.’”可知,Dent认为部落语言充满魅力且不会枯竭,说明她对部落语言的未来很有信心。故选A。 5.篇章结构题。文章第一、二段通过举例引出“部落”和“部落语言”的话题;第三、四、五段分别介绍了“部落”的含义、“秘密语言”的历史以及“秘密语言”的传播情况;第六段通过记者的话表明作者对部落语言未来的看法。结构①②/③④⑤/⑥符合。故选C。 (24-25九年级下·福建福州·开学考试)Whenever you walk past a cafe, you might take interest in the coffee because of its delicious smell. But when you try this dark drink you will regret it, because it tastes like Chinese medicine. Our senses are mismatched because of the “second sense of smell” according to The Telegraph. “We have two senses of smell,” explained Barry smith, professor of the University of London. “One is when you breathe in things from the environment, and the other is when the air comes up the nose and is breathed out through the nose.” When we drink coffee, for example, the act of swallowing (吞咽) sends the smell up the back of our nose from inside the mouth. This wakes up the second sense of smell in our brain. As a result, it gives us a different feeling. In fact, the second sense of smell plays a big part in our eating experience. It may be common sense that we smell through our nose and taste using our tongue. But the truth is 80% of what we think of as taste actually reaches us through smell. Just hold your nose while eating and you will notice that your tongue can only catch a very small part of the flavor (味道). However, ▲ . Durians (榴莲) and some cheeses are examples. “Think of a piece of cheese with an unpleasant smell,” Smith said. “It smells like the inside of a teenager’s training shoe. But once it’s in your mouth, and you are experiencing the smell through the nose in the other direction, it is delicious.” So far, scientists have only found two flavors that smell the same no matter how they enter the nose—chocolate and lavender. 1.Why do some good-smelling things taste so bad? A.Because our two senses of smell work differently. B.Because different people have different tastes. C.Because not all flavors have influences on us. D.Because our sense of taste often lies to us. 2.Which picture shows the “second sense of smell” according to the passage? A. B. C. D. 3.What’s the writer’s purpose in writing Paragraph 4? A.To show us the importance of the sense of taste. B.To explain what the second sense of smell is. C.To ask us to pay more attention to the use of the tongue. D.To tell us most of taste actually reaches us through smell. 4.We can put ________ in the blank “ ▲ ” in Paragraph 5. A.the second sense of smell sometimes doesn’t work at all B.people think that most of food with strong smell tastes terrible as well C.things that smell good often taste bad because of the second sense of smell D.the mismatch between our two senses of smell sometimes has pleasant results 5.Which question is answered in the passage? A.When is the best time for people to drink coffee? B.What is the best way to drink freshly-made coffee? C.Why does something that smells good taste bad? D.How can we change the smell of delicious food? 【答案】1.A 2.B 3.D 4.D 5.C 【导语】本文主要介绍了第二嗅觉的作用。 1.细节理解题。根据“…the act of swallowing (吞咽) sends the smell up the back of our nose from inside the mouth. This wakes up the second sense of smell in our brain. As a result, it gives us a different feeling.”可知,因为我们两种嗅觉的作用是不同的,这使得好闻的东西尝起来很糟糕。故选A。 2.细节理解题。根据“When we drink coffee, for example, the act of swallowing sends the smell up the back of our nose from inside the mouth. This wakes up the second sense of smell in our brain”可知,当我们喝咖啡时,吞咽的动作会把气味从嘴巴里送到鼻子后面。这唤醒了我们大脑中的第二种嗅觉,B图片符合,故选B。 3.推理判断题。根据“But the truth is 80% of what we think of as taste actually reaches us through smell.”可知,第四段的核心内容是告诉我们“其实我们大部分的‘味道感受’是通过嗅觉获得的”。因此写这一段的目的在于说明“绝大部分味道其实来自于嗅觉”,故选D。 4.推理判断题。根据后文Smith说的“It smells like the inside of a teenager’s training shoe. But once it’s in your mouth, and you are experiencing the smell through the nose in the other direction, it is delicious.”可知,闻的时候不好闻,但是放在嘴里很美味,这给了人们愉快的体验,所以D选项“我们两种嗅觉的不匹配有时会带来愉快的结果”放在此处最合适。故选D。 5.细节理解题。根据“Whenever you walk past a cafe, you might take interest in the coffee because of its delicious smell. But when you try this dark drink you will regret it, because it tastes like Chinese medicine.”可知,这句话告诉我们为什么有些东西闻起来好闻,尝起来很糟糕,因此文章中回答了“为什么好闻的东西尝起来不好”这个问题。故选C。 (24-25九年级下·福建福州·开学考试)You may feel that math is difficult and boring. Is it possible that you’ve been looking at math in the wrong way? Li Xing, a math professor at Ning Xia University, thinks math can be beautiful and fun. I completely agree with what he said. Numbers are beautiful Many people today want to have beautiful looks. There is math hidden in beautiful human bodies. Measure (测量) the length from your head to your belly button and from your belly button to your feet. The ratio (比例) of these two numbers is always around 0.618. This is the golden ratio, which can be seen everywhere, like in nature, music and paintings. In Chinese poems, we can also see the beauty of numbers. As Li Bai wrote, “My boat has left ten thousand mountains far away”, “A thousand miles in one day”, —all these numbers show how fast Li Bai traveled and how happy he felt. Curves (曲线) are beautiful “Sine curves” are beautiful. They go towards the two opposite directions on and on without ever ending. When you look at them, you may feel like standing by the sea and watching the waves slowly moving. “Tangent curve” (正切曲线) is like a waterfall, just as Li Bai wrote, “dashing (冲) down three thousand feet from on high”. Formulas (公式) are beautiful There are some amazing formulas. Take the Pythagorean theorem for instance: in a right-angled triangle, the square of the longest side equals the sum of the squares of the other two sides. Isn’t that fascinating? As the Chinese-American mathematician Chern Shingshen once said, “it is truly enjoyable!” 1.If the ratio of a thing is around 0.618, ________. A.it has a golden color B.it only happens in human bodies C.it looks like a human body D.it might bring people a sense of beauty 2.Why does the writer mention Li Bai and his poems in the passage? A.To introduce the topic. B.To support his opinion. C.To share the beauty of Li Bai’s poems. D.To offer advice on learning math. 3.What does a tangent curve look like? A. B. C. D. 4.What does the underlined word “equals” probably mean? A.show B.matches C.gives D.makes 5.What is the passage mainly about? A.Why math is beautiful and fun. B.Why math is difficult and boring. C.How we can learn math in a right way. D.How math helps us live a better life. 【答案】1.D 2.B 3.B 4.B 5.A 【导语】本文详细介绍了数学中的美感和趣味性,包括数字的美感、曲线的美感和公式的美感,以及通过例子来说明这些美感,使读者能够在新的视角下看到数学的魅力。 1.推理判断题。根据“Many people today want to have beautiful looks. There is math hidden in beautiful human bodies…The ratio (比例) of these two numbers is always around 0.618. This is the golden ratio, which can be seen everywhere, like in nature, music and paintings.”可知,如果人体的分割比例是0.618,说明这具身体是富有美感的;而在自然、音乐和绘画中,处处可见黄金比例,由此推知,如果一个事物是黄金比例,那么这个事物可以带给我们美感。故选D。 2.细节理解题。根据“In Chinese poems, we can also see the beauty of numbers. As Li Bai wrote...all these numbers show how fast Li Bai traveled and how happy he felt.”可知,作者提到李白的诗歌,是为了展示诗歌中的数字美,即支持自己的观点。故选B。 3.细节理解题。根据“‘Tangent curve’ (正切曲线) is like a waterfall, just as Li Bai wrote, ‘dashing (冲) down three thousand feet from on high’.”可知,“正切曲线”如瀑布,正如李白所言,“飞流直下三千尺”,结合选项可知,B项符合。故选B。 4.词句猜测题。根据“in a right-angled triangle, the square of the longest side equals the sum of the squares of the other two sides”及常识可知,在直角三角形中,两直角边的平方和等于斜边的平方,所以划线部分的含义是“等于”,B项符合。故选B。 5.主旨大意题。根据“Li Xing, a math professor at Ning Xia University, thinks math can be beautiful and fun. I completely agree with what he said.”并通读全文可知,本文详细介绍了数学中的美感和趣味性,A项符合。故选A。 (2025·福建三明·一模)The Taklimakan Desert (塔克拉玛干沙漠), which is in the northwest part of China, is the biggest desert in our country. It has been a big worry because it’s really large, about 337,600 square kilometers and there are a lot of sandstorms that come from it. These sandstorms are very bad for the nature and the way people live around it. So, people started a big project to put a green belt (带) around the desert. By the end of 2023, a large part of a 2,761-kilometer-long green belt had already been made around the desert. In 2024, the last 285 kilometers, mostly in the south of the desert where the sandstorms are super bad, were finished. Now the whole Taklimakan Desert has a green belt all around it. This Project has to do with six counties (县) in three parts of Xinjiang. The building of this green belt used many different scientific ways. For example, the China Railway Construction Development Group (中铁建发展集团) made a system to stop the sand. This system has three main things. There are tall things to stop the sand, squares made of straw (草方格) and wide lines of trees. These things work together well to stop the desert from getting bigger. When the green belt around the desert was successfully finished, it brought a lot of good things. First, it made the nature around the desert better. There are fewer and not as strong sandstorms now. Second, it kept the farming near the desert safe. So, farmers can grow food more easily. Also, the places where people live in cities and in the countryside are nicer. Because there are fewer sandstorms, there is less harm to the things like roads and buildings, and more people come to visit. So, the local people can make more money from having visitors. This project shows how much China wants to stop the desert from getting worse and make the nature better. 1.Where does the Taklimakan Desert lie in China? A.Southwest. B.Northwest. C.Southeast. D.Northeast. 2.What is the total length of the green belt around the Taklimakan Desert in 2024? A.2,761 kilometers. B.285 kilometers. C.3,046 kilometers. D.337,600 kilometers. 3.What does the underlined phrase “These things” in paragraph 3 refer to? A.The six counties. B.The sandstorms. C.The visitors. D.Ingredients of the sand-stopping system. 4.What is the right order of the following events? ① The green belt project around the Taklimakan Desert was started. ②A large part of the green belt was constructed by the end of 2023. ③ The final part of the green belt was finished in 2024. ④ Sandstorms from the Taklimakan Desert caused various problems. A.④①②③ B.①④②③ C.④②①③ D.①②③④ 5.What could be the best title of the text? Recently, the news of “radish Run fast” (萝卜快跑) has drawn wide attention. Driverless cars are becoming more common in many cities. It has become a hit on social media. Driverless cars can operate (操作) without a human driver. They can communicate with each other and change their speed and direction as needed, possibly improving traffic conditions and even making traffic lights needless as well. Another main advantage of driverless vehicles is that they reduce the number of accidents on the road, so it will save hundreds and thousands of people’s lives. However, there are still worries about whether driverless cars are safe for everyone on the road. Even though they use smart technology to avoid dangers and control the car, they’re not perfect yet. They can turn away from danger or walk over the sunny side of the garden. So they have to develop some special ways to protect themselves and grow in the nature. Some scientists found that plants can sense their surroundings (环境). You’ve all seen plants grow towards light which is called phototropism. Even if the tops of them are cut off, the plants don’t change the direction. They sense the light and tell the rest of the plants how to grow then. Some plants “talk” with each other by using “airmail” to warn each other of danger. Researchers in England cut the leaves of cabbages. The cabbages then produce a tiny number of chemicals that protect themselves from some insects. Strangely, the cabbages which aren’t cut nearby also begin to give off their own different chemicals. That means they seem to receive a warning from their cabbage neighbors. Most amazingly, plants have a great system of communication that can connect nearly every plant in a forest by fungi. It connects the roots of different plants to each other. Scientists call the system the “wood wide web”, similar to the Internet we use. Using the network, plants can communicate and share information and even food with each other. Whatever the case is, plants are stranger and more wonderful than we can imagine. 1.The underlined word “phototropism” in Paragraph 2 means ________. A.摄影技术 B.避光性 C.向光性 D.环境感知 2.The cabbages produce the chemicals to ________. A.protect themselves B.sense the light C.change the direction D.make leaves grow 3.According to the passage, we know that plants have the ability of ________. ①sense  ②thinking  ③communication  ④hearing A.①④ B.②④ C.①③ D.①② 4.The fungi builds the “wood wide web” by ________. A.making noises B.connecting the roots C.using the Internet D.making the wood 5.Which is NOT TRUE according to the passage? A.Plants can protect themselves and grow in the nature in some special ways. B.Even if the tops of the plants are cut off, they can’t change the direction. Since 2012, China’s railway has made many new things, like the Fuxing high-speed train, and has built a whole high-speed rail technology system. The CR450 shows China’s ability to make new things and its science power. It also shows the good points of China’s system, which helps the railway grow. In the past 15 years, China has built a very big railway network, including the world’s largest and best high-speed rail network, which is very long. The CR450 is an important step in China’s railway growth. 1.What is the operating speed of the CR450 high-speed train? (①= Paragraph 1) A.①②③/④⑤/⑥ B.①/②③④⑤/⑥ C.①②/③④⑤/⑥ D.①②/③④/⑤⑥ (24-25九年级下·福建福州·开学考试)Whenever you walk past a cafe, you might take interest in the coffee because of its delicious smell. (24-25九年级下·福建福州·开学考试)You may feel that math is difficult and boring. (2025·福建三明·一模)The Taklimakan Desert (塔克拉玛干沙漠), which is in the northwest part of China, is the biggest desert in our country. In a recent London test, a driver had to take control twice to avoid accidents. There are a lot of challenges that need to be solved before we see traffic lights disappear. One of these challenges is allowing driverless cars on the roads regularly, which requires solving many safety and technical problems. Driverless cars need sensors (传感器), cameras, and computer systems to operate. However, making these systems work effectively in all weather and road conditions is challenging. People have mixed feelings about driverless cars. Some people, like Grant Schapps, believe they could be a big deal if we can make them work safely. But some feel uncomfortable with the idea, and most want them to be clearly marked on the road. Experts (专家) think we might need new road signs just for driverless cars because they may have difficulty moving through the roads with heavy traffic or unexpected situations. In short, while driverless cars offer exciting possibilities, we must deal with many problems before they become common on our roads. 1.What’s the purpose of Paragraph 1? A.To explain an idea. (24-25九年级下·福建南平·开学考试) At the Badaling Great Wall in Beijing, getting food and water used to require a 50-minute walk. But now, people can place orders on the phone, and drones will bring them over in a few minutes. The drones can also take away garbage from tourists on their return journeys. By June, over 1.87 million drones had received permission (许可) to work, reported China Daily. The demand for drone pilots is rising. However, only about 225 thousand people have the necessary licenses (执照) to fly them. This creates a shortage of almost 1 million licensed drone pilots in the country. Since drones have been used in many areas, like farming, video filming and environmental protection, drone pilots can also work in different industries. The pay is good too. Some pilots are paid around 30 thousand yuan per month, reported China Daily. That is why more people are training to get drone licenses. At Xiaoxiang Yongxiang, a business offering such training in Hunan province, about 500 people have graduated (毕业) so far this year. Before, there were only about 200 each year. To get a drone-flying license for distances under 500 meters, people need to take 44 hours of training. For longer distances, 56 hours are required. “I believe drones are the future,” said Dong Jiamin, head of Xiaoxiang Yongxiang. The excitement around drones is connected to the development of the low-altitude economy (低空经济), which is about activities happening in the airspace below 3 thousand meters. By 2030, this part of the economy could reach 2 thousand billion yuan in China. Other industries, such as AI and green energy, are also expected to grow with it. 1.How soon will people get food after placing orders at the Badaling Great Wall? A.In about 5 minutes.
