She was curious to see how much water there was outside. 玛丽走到门口，她想知道外面的雨水有多深了。 (3)Dad was listening to a weather report on the radio，while Mum was putting some important documents and disaster supplies into a bag. 爸爸在收听收音机里的天气预报，妈妈在往包里放一些重要材料和救灾物资。 (4)Dad moved the dinner table against the door，in case the floodwater forced the door open. 爸爸用餐桌顶住门，以防洪水把门冲开。 (5)Mum waved to Mary to sit on the sofa. 妈妈招呼玛丽坐到沙发上。 (6)Without saying a single word，Dad walked to the sofa，sat down and hugged his wife and daughter. 爸爸一句话也没说，走到沙发旁，坐下，拥抱了妻子和女儿。 [典题示例] 阅读课本第23页的文章Caught in a flood，并续写该故事。词数150左右。 ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ 第一步　学会审题谋篇 写作类型 体裁：记叙文——读后续写 人称时态 时态：记叙用一般过去时；对话用直接引语。 人称：以第三人称为主。 写作要点 1.结构：两段式，第一段续接上文，故事继续发展；第二段续接第一段，故事由高潮至结束。 2．主题：家庭遭遇洪灾。 3．主要内容：合理预测情节发展＋人物情绪行为描写＋对话。 第二步　保基础分——会写基本句 1．全家人简短讨论。 The family had a brief discussion． 2．他们决定待在房子里。 They decided to stay in the house． 3．涉水去高处很危险。 It would be dangerous to walk through the water to get to higher ground． 4．他们去楼上等着。 They went upstairs and waited． 学生用书第49页 5．他们很紧张。 They were very nervous． 6．他们有些食物和饮用水。 They had some food and drinking water． 7．他们无法离开房子。 They could not leave the house． 8．房子仍然被洪水所困。 The house was still flooded． 9．救援人员正在救援。 Rescue workers were coming to rescue people． 10．他们终于获救。 They were finally saved． 第三步　创设亮点——试写高级句 11．合并1，2两句。 After a brief discussion，Mum and Dad decided they should stay in the house. 12．合并7，8两句，并增加细节，续接第一段。 Finally，the rain stopped，but Mary and her family could not leave while/because the house was still flooded. 13．扩展第9句，增加细节描写和定语从句。 They listened to the radio and learnt that rescue workers in boats were coming to rescue people who were trapped in their homes. 第四步　衔接成篇得高分 ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ [参考范文] After a brief discussion，Mum and Dad decided they should stay in the house. All three of them were nervous，but at least they had disaster supplies，including food and drinking water. They listened to the radio and learnt that rescue workers in boats were coming to rescue people who were trapped in their homes. They waited for a boat to arrive at their house.
