Teaching procedures Step 1 Lead-in Show the pictures of four classic novels of Chinese literature and ask students what qualities they have. Interesting, attractive,impressive.... Step 2 : Reading Skimming Read the article quickly and find out the main idea of each paragraph? Para1: Describe a short story.Introduction Para2: We wish to enjoy and understand literature. Para3: Literature describes truth and beauty.Body(three qualities of literature) Para4: Literature appeals to our feelings and imagination.
