教学重点
1.巩固学生对阅读文章中重点词汇和短语的理解与运用。
2.引导学生进一步掌握询问他人意愿和能力的句型结构,提高语言表达能力。
教学难点
帮助学生学会运用所学知识,根据社区中心的需求,准确、流畅地表达自己能够提供的帮助和愿意参与的活动。
◇教学过程◇
Step 1 Leading in
1.Greet the students and review the knowledge learnt in last class.
2.Show some pictures related to community activities and ask students to describe what they see in English.
Step 2 Pre⁃reading
1.Ask students to review the words and phrases in the box quickly.
2.Let students predict what kind of information they need to fill in the blanks.
Step 3 While⁃reading
1.Ask students to read the centre’s notice in C quickly and summarise the main purpose of the notice.
2.Ask students to read the notice carefully again and complete the blanks with the correct forms of the words and phrases in the box.
3.Check the answers together and ask students to read out the completed notice.
Step 4 Post⁃reading
1.Work on D
(1)Ask students to think about the questions:“What kind of volunteer work can you do in your neighbourhood?” “What do you like best about your community?” “What do you think makes a neighbourhood a good place to live in?”
(2)Invite some students to read their answers aloud and ask other students to listen carefully and give comments and suggestions.
2.Ask students to rewrite the notice in their own words.
◇教学反思◇
本课时通过多种练习形式进一步强化了学生对文章的理解和语言知识的运用,但部分学生在表达自己能做的志愿工作时,思路不够清晰,语言较单一。后续需加强写作思路的引导和语言素材的积累。
