Step 2 Pre⁃reading 1.Ask students to review the words and phrases in the box quickly. 2.Let students predict what kind of information they need to fill in the blanks. Step 3 While⁃reading 1.Ask students to read the centre’s notice in C quickly and summarise the main purpose of the notice. 2.Ask students to read the notice carefully again and complete the blanks with the correct forms of the words and phrases in the box. 3.Check the answers together and ask students to read out the completed notice. Step 4 Post⁃reading 1.Work on D (1)Ask students to think about the questions:“What kind of volunteer work can you do in your neighbourhood?” “What do you like best about your community?” “What do you think makes a neighbourhood a good place to live in?” (2)Invite some students to read their answers aloud and ask other students to listen carefully and give comments and suggestions. 2.Ask students to rewrite the notice in their own words. ◇教学反思◇ 　　本课时通过多种练习形式进一步强化了学生对文章的理解和语言知识的运用,但部分学生在表达自己能做的志愿工作时,思路不够清晰,语言较单一。后续需加强写作思路的引导和语言素材的积累。 1 立足安徽 精准备考 1 / 1 学科网（北京）股份有限公司 $$
