Compact Sunayama Beach, known for its arch-shaped rock, is tucked away in a small cove, and is accessed by walking through a narrow tunnel of trees. Diverse and colorful fish Snorkeling is a must-try in Miyakojima. Dense coral reefs, schools of tropical fish, sea turtles and plenty of space to free dive to depths of 8 to 15 meters close to the shore are standout features. Tourists have used paint, rocks, or keys to write on the Luxor Temple in Egypt, the Colosseum in Rome, Stonehenge in the UK, and many other places. Thousands of tourist sites are being destroyed by tourists. I have three words for people like this: please stop it. If you want to leave a mark, do it by changing someone’s life with kindness and love. Pass kindness along to future generations, not destruction. Another big problem in some places has been tourists disturbing (打扰) the local people and life. Some tourists wander around and take pictures of locals without asking for their permission. Another example is Sanlitun, a neighbourhood in Beijing, China. Some tourists love to party there late into the night, making it difficult for locals to sleep. I have three words for tourists like this: please be considerate (体谅的). Have fun in a way that does not disturb others. The number of problems from tourists is endless: walking in large groups without considering others, crossing roads without thinking of local traffic laws… The only solution is to make sure that you are not a terrible tourist! Be the best, kindest, most polite tourist! Remember, whenever you step outside your country’s borders, you are standing for your country to the rest of the world. 1.How does the author support his idea in paragraph 2? A.By providing examples. D.Lily, who often takes photos of the local people without asking for permission. 4.What is the purpose of the last paragraph? A.To praise considerate tourists. Tourist industry has advantages and disadvantages. While it makes money for the local economy and creates jobs for locals, it also causes problems. One growing problem is tourists who want to show that they have visited a destination. For example, Chiang Mai University in Thailand and Yonsei University in South Korea have great numbers of tourists visiting their campuses and walking through their libraries and other public areas, taking pictures of students, and disturbing their studies. D.Lily, who often takes photos of the local people without asking for permission. 4.What is the purpose of the last paragraph? A.To praise considerate tourists. Citywalk first started from cities like Beijing and Shanghai. Day by day, it has begun to spread to second-and third-tier cities (二线和三线城市) In China, attracting common people and event organisers. Some organisers even invite folk culture lovers and researchers to act as tour guides. Xiao Yiyi who comes from Changsha is one of them. She has recently produced six Citywalk routes in different cities on the Internet. Her purpose is to provide visitors with a chance to “walk through open-air museums”. Xiao’ s Changsha route includes special attractions such as 19th-century historical architecture, artistic old streets, and even a stop to taste the local specialty of spicy crawfish. Xiao mentioned that there are around twelve people in each of her groups, and the events usually last half a day. Citywalk not only develops a deeper connection between young people and the city but also offers a new situation where like-minded people can easily make friends. In certain places like Beijing and Shandong Province, Citywalk has been included into cultural tourism and leisure tour initiatives (休闲旅游计划). Shanghai has produced Citywalk routes that make use of public bus transportation, enabling day-trippers to easily reach some far places and continue their exploration on foot. Citywalk offers a positive change to urban travelers, allowing them to choose experiences that satisfy their interests and meet their needs.
