Elephants give new meaning to the phrase: “It takes a village to raise a child.” 3. How far would you go to protect your child? 【设计意图】 学生在理解细节信息之后，通过已知信息去理解关键词句及其背后的含义。 Stage III Post-reading Step 1 Work in pairs and discuss the questions. 讨论问题 1)What does the word surprising in the title indicate? Why do you think so? 2)Which way of caring for children mentioned in the passage impresses you most? Why? 3)Are there any similarities or differences between human beings and animals in taking care of their children?
