The purpose of this unit By understanding and analyzing the dialogue, students will find out some information about learning English and they will be able to express their ideas about how to learn English. Analysis of students Solutions: Task 1 Discussion---lead students to learn and think critically. Task 2 Making a dialogue---encourage the students to take part in the class actively. Student status Merits: The students are active and curious. They have mastered some simple words and expressions to learn this lesson. Shortcomings: They might lack of skills to express their ideas about how to learn English. Teaching objectives By the end of the class, students will be able to Sort out the ways to learn English well. Analyze the problems they will face in learning English. Act out the dialogue by using the sentence patterns learned in this lesson and form the awareness of learning English actively and facing problems positively. Express their ideas about how to learn English and how to solve the problems by using the key words, phrases and sentence patterns learned in this lesson.
