教学过程
1. Prepositions of time
(1) Presentation
Have students answer the following questions about Millie’s school life and pay attention to the prepositions of time.
① What time does Millie’s school start?
② What time do her lessons begin?
③ When does Millie have Biology classes?
④ When does Millie practise volleyball?
Have students read the sentences in A on page 47.
Have students circle the nouns, numbers or phrases representing time in A on page 47.
Have students work out the rules of prepositions of time according to the circled words.
Have students go through “Grammar check” from pages 142 to 143.
(2) Practice
Have students practise using prepositions of time.
① Have students finish A1 on page 47.
② Have students circle the nouns, numbers or phrases representing time in A1 on page 47.
Have students finish A2 on page 47.
2. Adverbs of frequency
(1) Presentation
Have students finish the following exercises.
① Present the menu at the school dining hall and have students talk about their lunch choices at school.
② Have students try to use adverbs of frequency to rewrite the sentences according to the graph in B on page 48.
Have students study the graph in B on page 48 and find out the rules of adverbs of frequency.
(2) Practice
Have students practise using the adverbs of frequency.
① Have students finish B1 on page 48 according to the graph above.
② Have students find out where an adverb of frequency should be in the sentences in B1.
Have students explain the differences between “never, seldom” and “sometimes, often, usually, and always”.
3. Production
Have students finish B2 on page 48.
Have students talk about their school days with their partners using prepositions of time and adverbs of frequency properly.
4. Summary
Have students summarize what they have learned in this class.
5. Homework
(1)请用合适的时间介词完成句子。
