教学设计 课程基本信息 学科 英语 年级 八年级 学期 春季 课题 8下 Unit 6 Sunshine for all——Reading I(Period 2) 教学目标 1、学生在文本阅读中,学习有关特奥及志愿者的相关词汇与短语; 2、学生通过阅读报道,训练扫读、查读等阅读技巧,并能总结有关特奥及主人公志愿服务的所见、所闻、所做、所感等; 3、学生能通过合作、思考、探究文本,在教者引领下体悟主人公志愿服务经历,积极投身志愿服务,承担社会责任; 4、学生能够用KWLS图表,阅读相关主题平行语篇,训练阅读思维。 教学重难点 教学重点: 1、 学生通过阅读报道,训练扫读、查读等阅读技巧,并能总结有关特奥及主人公志愿服务的所见、所闻、所做、所感等; 2、 学生能通过合作、思考、探究文本,在教者引领下体悟主人公志愿服务经历,积极投身志愿服务,承担社会责任。 教学难点: 1、学生能通过合作、思考、探究文本,在教者引领下体悟主人公志愿服务经历,积极投身志愿服务,承担社会责任; 2、学生能够用KWLS图表,阅读相关主题平行语篇,训练阅读思维。 教学过程 Step 1 : Lead in Teacher shares a video and asks students questions to lead to the Special Olympics. 【设计意图】结合视频,设计问题,导入部分重点生词(如athlete, coach, event等),快速导入特奥。 Step 2: Share what students know about the Special Olympics Ss share what they know about the Special Olympics. 【设计意图】基于学生预学习,分享关于特奥“已知”信息,为阅读热身。 Step 3: Discuss what students want to know 1. Teacher presents the whole page of the report and asks students to skim the main title and the leading words of Reading Part. Q:What’s the report about? 2. Before reading the content, students discuss and raise questions about what they want to know in today’s report! 【设计意图】带领学生快速浏览板块大标题和导语小字,准确抓取文本核心内容,引入本篇报道标题,引导学生提出“想知”信息,同时训练预测文本技巧。 Step 4: Solve what students want to know 1.Teacher leads students to read the report by using different reading skills and solve what students want to learn. 【设计意图】引导学生运用查读等阅读技巧,进行文本阅读,处理学生所提问题。尝试角色阅读体验,领会志愿者情感,为处理核心问题Why搭建脚手架。 2. Teacher leads students to deal with the focus question “Why did Liu Ming volunteer for the Special Olympics?” Students watch the video of Para 4. 【设计意图】切换视角,学生通过了解特奥运动员Li Hai的成长与感受,总结志愿者服务的责任,为阐明文本深层主题做铺垫。 3. Students watch a video and think further about the rights of more people like Li Hai. 【设计意图】 呈现视频,倾听智障群体心声,推出本模块主题Rights and responsibilities和本单元主题Sunshine for all.
