Our school recently announced that we could start our own clubs. As soon as the word got out, students took the chance. My friend and I were interested in writing. But the writing team was very competitive. We were not able to join. Soon we got the idea to start a non-competitive writing club. Anyone who loved to write could join. So, we created Write Space.
First, we planned the goal of the club. We hoped that members could share their writing at regular meetings once a week. Members would give each other advice and make progress together. We also thought about how to invite new members and raise funds (资金). Then we sent our plan to the school. When the school agreed, we got a new club!

A popular show called Become a Farmer is all about farming. Ten boys are going to spend 190 days growing wheat in the countryside on a large piece of land. These boys were famous on stage before joining the show. It’s amazing to see them leave the stage and live the life of farmers.
It’s hard to imagine (想象) a group of people who have never done farm work before and have to do it now. In this show, they work together and support(支持)each other. They have different goals, but they believe that hard work can make any dream come true. Through farming, they become close friends.

(23-24七年级上·广东深圳·期末)I am Sam. Today is Friday and it is a big day for our class. We would go on a trip to meet the national football team and visit some of the best football players in our country. How exciting!
We were asked to meet at the school gate early this morning. Before we left the school yesterday, our teacher told us to be on time. “Be here before 7:30 tomorrow morning. If you are late, the school bus will leave without you.”
Last night, I was so excited that I could not fall asleep until late night. When the alarm clock (闹钟) woke me up this morning, it was 6:30. “It is only a 30-minute bus ride from home to school. I still have a lot of time.” I thought. I hit the OFF button on the alarm clock and went back to sleep. I just wanted to sleep for five more minutes.
Then all of a sudden, I woke up. It was almost 7 o’clock! “Oh no! I should be on my bus at this time!” I shouted. I ran to the bus station. It seemed that the bus would never arrive. There was no taxi in sight either. After waiting at the bus station for ten minutes, I called my parents and they drove me to school. But it was already 8:15 when I arrived there. The school bus had left.

(22-23七年级上·广东深圳·期末)German club, magic club…These are some of the many fun clubs at our school. What makes these clubs so special (特别的)? They are not led by teachers. Students lead (领导) them.
