Step 2: Pre-reading (5 minutes)
1. Present the title of the lesson "Clean Cars?" and ask students to predict what the text might be about.
2. Introduce the key vocabulary related to transportation and energy, such as "fuel", "energy", "invention" and "environment".
Step 3: While-reading (10 minutes)
1. Fast reading
Ask students to read the text quickly and answer the following questions:
What did Jenny's class discuss this week?
What did the teacher ask them to do?
Check the answers with the whole class.
2. Careful reading
Ask students to read the text carefully again and fill in the blanks on the PPT:
This week, Jenny's class discussed (transportation). They (learned) about trains, planes, rockets and more. The teacher asked them to think about the future of transportation. They had to think of an invention and (present) it to the class. Danny gave a very interesting presentation. He (put on) an old backpack. He (got on) a chair and (jumped) down. He wanted to fly.

八、Teaching Reflection
