2025初中英语中考题型汇编高分训练(全国通用) 训练 33 阅读理解(议论文篇专练) (一) WeChat (微信) has become one of the most important parts in our life. And many families have a family group on WeChat. What do you think of family groups? I am Zhang Xinyu. I like to have a family group on WeChat. It is important to have a good relationship with our family members. In my WeChat family group, we often share photos to show our daily lives. We freely talk about our work, school, or even entertainment (娱乐). It is nice to communicate with my families. I am Wei Hua from Shandong. WeChat family groups can help us do lots of things. For example, if you want to tell something to your family, you can just send a single message to the group instead of sending each member separately (分开的). This saves a lot of time. Also, not everyone meets every other family member often. But family groups allow us to share our lives with everyone. I am Liu Xing. Many people share their photos, addresses, and other personal information in their WeChat family groups, which is not safe. Also, my family members often talk about something that has nothing to do with me, but I have to spend time checking the messages anyway. It causes me to spend more time on my phone. 1.How many people are mentioned (提到) in the passage? A.Two. B.Three. C.Four. D.Five. 2.Who doesn’t like WeChat family groups? A.Zhang Xinyu B.Wei Hua C.Liu Xing D.Zhang Ping 3.The following statements are all true EXCEPT ________. A.Different people have different ideas about WeChat family groups B.Many people like to share pictures, addresses and so on on the Internet C.All of us should pay attention to the safety of WeChat on the Internet D.People shouldn’t have WeChat family groups on their mobile phones 【答案】1.B 2.C 3.D 【导语】本文主要介绍了三个人对家庭微信群的看法。 1. 根据“I am Zhang Xinyu.”,“I am Wei Hua from Shandong.”及“I am Liu Xing.” 根据第三栏中“Many people share their photos, addresses, and other personal information in their WeChat family groups, which is not safe. Also, my family members often talk about something that has nothing to do with me, but I have to spend time checking the messages anyway.” (二) We all know that there are two versions of written Chinese characters. People in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan use traditional characters. And on the Chinese mainland we write with simplified ones. However, at this year’s Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), well-known film director Feng Xiaogang suggested that schools should teach students 50-200 of the most meaningful traditional Chinese characters. “It is not to get rid of the simplified characters, but to let the children know about the most important part of traditional Chinese culture,” said Feng. Take two simplified characters as an example, “亲” (meaning dear, or relatives) and “爱” (meaning love). The traditional version for “亲” is “親”, which has an extra “見” meaning “see”; while “爱” is written as “愛” in the traditional way, which has an extra “心” meaning “heart”. “Love needs ‘heart’ and relatives need to ‘see’ each other,” Feng said. “The simplified versions of these characters have lost their human touch.” Learning traditional Chinese will also help people better understand Chinese historical works written in traditional characters, said Lu Bo, editor-in-chief of Macao Daily News. However, many people think it not necessary to do so. They say simplified characters are easier to learn and write, and people have got used to them. “Traditional Chinese characters are too hard for beginners, and students don’t have the language environment outside the classroom,” Zhang Jian, a Guangzhou primary school teacher, told the Yangcheng Evening News. Moreover, the simplified characters come from the traditional ones, which means they can also promote and keep traditional culture, said Chinese character expert Dang Huaixing. 1.How does the writer explain the importance of learning some traditional Chinese characters? A.By explaining reasons. B.By giving examples. C.By listing numbers. 2.Who usually write Chinese character“愛”in their passage? A.People from Beijing. B.People from Shandong. C.People from Taiwan. 3.What’s the meaning of the underlined phrase “get rid of” in the paragraph 2? A.give up B.make ... better C.keep ... alive 4.What’s the writer’s attitude (态度) towards learning traditional characters? A.The writer strongly supports the idea. B.The writer feels disappointed about the idea. C.The writer talks about the idea objectively. 根据“Take two simplified characters as an example, … ‘The simplified versions of these characters have lost their human touch.’ ”可知,文章通过举例子的形式解释学习繁体字的重要性,故选B。 2.细节理解题。根据“People in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan use traditional characters.”以及“while ‘爱’ is written as ‘愛’ in the traditional way”可知,港澳台的人们经常写这个“愛”。故选C。 3. 根据“It is not to get rid of the simplified characters, but to let the children know about the most important part of traditional Chinese culture”可知,这不是为了摆脱简体字,而是为了让孩子们了解中国传统文化中最重要的部分,短语“get rid of”指的是“摆脱,放弃”。故选A。 4. 根据“We all know that there are two versions of written Chinese characters. People in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan use traditional characters. And on the Chinese mainland we write with simplified ones.” (三) If I had a cold, I wouldn’t think twice about telling my friends or my doctor. For some reason, however, if I had a mental (心理的) problem, I might not treat it in the same way. At my elementary school, mental health was not discussed even once as far as I can remember. This makes me wonder how many other schools are failing to educate their students on this topic. It makes me sad that children growing up with mental illness may feel like it is something to be ashamed of (对……感到羞耻的) because it is never discussed. When I reached high school, mental health was still seldom discussed. But when it was in the topic of health or biology class, I was given a broad idea that mental illness was a “thing” that really lies. In my opinion, overstressed high school students could benefit (获益) greatly from more deep discussions about how to deal with mental health problems, such as how to know when you should care about yourself or a friend, or who to reach out for help. I know my friends and I could have benefited. Even if you personally have never faced mental health problems, someone you know is sure to have, and you can offer timely help. I also believe we need to normalize (使……正常化) discussions about mental health at an early age, rather than hiding them from sight. At school, I saw a student’s report on mental health education and how it can be carried out in the American school system. The student used the film Iniside Out to explain feelings to younger kids. This report made me believe that it is possible to start these discussions at a young age if we try. Although we can’t change the way people think about mental health over one night, there are still things we can do. Asking our friends how they’re feeling is a good start. 1.How does the writer introduce his topic in Paragraph 1? A.By showing facts. B.By giving numbers. C.By making comparison. D.By sharing a story. 2.What does the writer learn from the student’s report? A.Kids who are healthy outside might be ill inside. B.Mental health discussions can be held with young kids. C.The American school system is open to mental health education. D.Watching educational films can help children with mental illness. 3.Which of the following shows the structure of the article? A.①②③/④/⑤ B.①/②③④/⑤ C.①/②③④⑤ D.①/②/③④/⑤ 4.What is the best title for the text? A.Mental health matters! B.Is it okay if it’s not good? C.The earlier, the better! D.How to pay attention to mental health? 根据“If I had a cold, I wouldn’t think twice about telling my friends or my doctor. For some reason, however, if I had a mental (心理的) problem, I might not treat it in the same way.” 根据“This report made me believe that it is possible to start these discussions at a young age if we try.” 故选A。 (四) It is often said that elderly people don’t understand youngsters, while many believe that children are too young to fully appreciate (理解) the wisdom of their elders. But in truth, both groups have a lot to learn from each other. Sister Geraldine Tan runs the St. Joseph’s Home for the Aged and Hospice in Singapore. It’s mainly a facility (场所) for serving the elderly. But not all of its visitors are senior citizens (老年人). The home also includes a childcare center for about 50 kids between the ages of 2 months and 6 years old. At the center of the home’s courtyard, there’s a playground where the elderly can play with the kids. By doing so, they can learn more about each other and gain mutual (相互的) respect and understanding. I think this is quite an interesting idea. For one thing, we live in a world where aging societies are becoming more common. China itself is facing this problem as its population ages. It will be important for young people to be able to understand and care for the elderly in the coming years. Sadly, my own grandparents weren’t around when I was little, as they had already passed away. I never got to learn what the world was like through their eyes, or what kinds of challenges they might have faced when they were my age. Their lives will always be a mystery (谜) to me. But I suppose I can still learn from other people of older generations. I might find some of their ideas old-fashioned, and they might believe that my generation’s way of thinking is strange or incorrect. But we can still learn from each other anyway. 1.What is the difference between St. Joseph’s Home and other facilities for serving the elderly? A.It is a center only for serving the elderly. B.It allows everyone to go there. C.It accept s both elderly people and kids. D.The elderly must take care of kids there. 2.What’s the main idea of Paragraph 4? A.The world’s population is growing B.Youngsters should respect the elders. C.The elderly can’t understand children. D.There are more and more elderly people. 3.The underlined word “old-fashioned” means ________ in Chinese. 4.Which of the following is NOT true? A.Young people are able to understand and look after the elderly well in China. B.The writer’s grandparents are dead. C.Grandparents’ lives will be a mystery to the writer. D.The writer believes that we should learn from the older generation. 5.What’s the writer’s opinion? A.Elderly people don’t understand youngsters. B.Youngsters don’t accept the wisdom of their elders. C.Elderly people and youngsters can communicate perfectly. D.Different generations can learn from each other. 根据第二段“It’s mainly a facility (场所) for serving the elderly. But not all of its visitors are senior citizens (老年人).”以及第三段“The home also includes a childcare center for about 50 kids between the ages of 2 months and 6 years old.” 根据第四段“For one thing, we live in a world where aging societies are becoming more common. China itself is facing this problem as its population ages.” 根据“I might find some of their ideas old-fashioned, and they might believe that my generation’s way of thinking is strange or incorrect.” 根据第四段“It will be important for young people to be able to understand and care for the elderly in the coming years.” 故选A。 5. 根据最后一段“But we can still learn from each other anyway.” (五) People want to know if pre-made meals are healthy enough for teenagers. There are several kinds of pre-made foods: ready-to-eat food, such as canned food or cooked food in packages, and ready-to-heat or ready-to-cook food. These foods usually require heating or cooking first before being served. Many people think that pre-made foods are less healthy because they usually need to be kept in fridges. “In fact, freezing itself does not cause nutrition (营养) loss,” Liu Junya, a 33-year-old professor in diet in Beijing said. “But nutrition loss does happen when we heat or fry the food. Vitamins B and C in meat and vegetables can be lost during that process. By being heated or cooked twice or party pre-made foods can be less nutritious than freshly prepared and cooked foods,” Liu said. “Besides, many pre-made food companies put the taste of food ahead of nutrition,” said Liu. This leads to higher level of salt and sugar in the food and pay cause serious health problems in the long term. Additives (添加剂) are another problem related to pre-made foods. They are only used to improve the flavor of the food, increase its shelf life, and color it. In China, food industry has already had modern technology to keep pre-made kids without any additives. But it’s necessary that customers only buy pre-made books from big and qualified (有资质的) food companies or supermarkets. It is hoped that laws on pre-made meals can ensure better nutrition and hygiene (卫生). “In this way we hope pre-made meals will be accepted by more. But at present, no one can tell,” Liu said. 1.In which picture we can’t see the pre-made meals? A. B. C. D. 2.What does the underlined word “ensure” probably mean in Paragraph 5? A.Make sure of. C.People worry about teenagers’ health because of pre-made meals. D.Pre-made meals are popular and accepted by people now. 5.What’s the best title for the passage? A.How to Make Pre-made Meals B.Are Pre-made Meals Healthy Enough? C.Pre-made Meals Are Healthy D.Pre-made Meals Are Popular 【答案】1.D 2.A 3.C 4.C 5.B 【导语】本文是一篇议论文,讨论了预制餐食品的健康问题。 1. 根据“There are several kinds of pre-made foods: ready-to-eat food, such as canned food or cooked food in packages, and ready-to-heat or ready-to-cook food.” 根据“laws on pre-made meals can ensure better nutrition and hygiene”可知,预制食品相关法律的完善是为了保证预制食品更好的营养和卫生,可推测ensure与make sure of意思相近。故选A。 3. 根据“Besides, many pre-made food companies put the taste of food ahead of nutrition...This leads to higher level of salt and sugar in the food and pay cause serious health problems in the long term”可知,许多预制食品公司把食物味道的重要性置于营养之上,导致食物中的盐和糖含量升高,从长期来看,这会造成严重的健康问题。 根据“People want to know if pre-made meals are healthy enough for teenagers”以及“Many people think that pre-made foods are less healthy”可知,人们认为预制食品不太健康,由于营养流失以及添加剂的问题,人们会担心青少年食用之后的健康问题。故选C。 5. 根据“People want to know if pre-made meals are healthy enough for teenagers”并结合全文可知,本文在议论预制食品的健康问题。故选B。 (六) With the development of science and technology, more kids are using audiobooks (有声书). A large number of experts say that audiobooks can help “readers” turn what they hear into written words — and may even inspire them to pick up a pen themselves. “Audiobooks have an immersive (沉浸式的) quality that brings stories to life,” said Leanne Cartwright.” When children listen to books, they use their imagination to meet different characters.” Audiobooks lead kids to hear the rhythm of far more difficult language and grammar than they hear when we speak. Listening with the help of audiobooks can even lead children to write. “A real advantage of audiobooks is that children can use what they hear for their own writing,” Dr. Adonis said. “They can move their writing on from ‘This is what I did on the weekend’ to really exciting ways of expressing big ideas.” “If a child is having trouble learning the skill of reading, it can become a real obstacle (障碍) to his development of creativity and the ability to tell stories,” Dr. Adonis added. “In such a difficult situation, an audiobook is really helpful. While listening to audiobooks, children are still learning about how a story is organized. They are listening to descriptions, understanding dialogues and interpreting metaphors I have recently heard that there are debates (辩论) about whether elephants should live in zoos or not. My idea is that elephants should live in zoos for people to see. Many experts say that elephants have a good life living in zoos. There are 78 zoos that exhibit (展览) elephants. Most zoos are trying to make living conditions better for the elephants. They are doing things such as replacing (替代) hard floors with sand or dirt. This makes it easier for them to walk around. Zoos are also making their elephant house larger to give the large animals more room to go around. Zoos also protect endangered animals. According to the World Wildlife Fund, in 2014 the total population of African elephants was around 700, 000 and the Asian elephant population was about 32, 000. So, the Asian elephants are in danger of dying out. Without zoos, they are all likely to disappear within our lifetime. The National Zoo plans to spend millions of dollars on a new Asian elephant habitats (栖息地). That way, they can start their own groups. Some people want zoos to cancel all of their elephant displays. National Zoo director John Berry says that visitors are allowed to feed and watch elephants closely. This encourages people to care about endangered animals. Once while I was visiting the zoo on a hot day, Big Ben, the largest elephant on display, walked up to me and gently squirted (喷) my face with water from his trunk. Everyone was amazed at what he did. That was a very nice thing for Big Ben to do. I’m sure that elephants are the nicest animals on earth. So, the Asian elephants are in danger of dying out.” 根据“Some people want zoos to cancel all of their elephant displays. National Zoo director John Berry says that visitors are allowed to feed and watch elephants closely.” 根据“My idea is that elephants should live in zoos for people to see.”和“I feel zoos should follow all the necessary steps to keep elephants in zoos. I would raise money at my school if I thought it would help to keep elephants in zoos.” (八) Technology has done our world wonders: from development in medicine, travel, communication, to our day-to-day lives. It has undoubtedly changed the way our society works, and how we communicate with one another and ourselves. However, by completely welcoming technology as a part of everyday life, are we losing our ability to create? Technology presents a new platform for creativity to exist on. Through technology, ideas can be set free and come to life in the physical world. We have the necessary tools for greater possibilities and new solutions. For example, businesses now have the opportunity to improve themselves more creatively through websites, film advertisements, social media or radio. However, when we look more closely, it’s easy to notice some disadvantages. For example, many of us depend so heavily on automated calculations (自动计算) nowadays, rather than taking the time to work it out for ourselves. Another obvious situation is that a lot of people are spending too much time on screens. As a result, they are reducing the opportunities to come up with their own creations. Is there a way to find a balance between technology and human creativity? I think so. It is simply a matter of making sure that creativity is not deterred by technology. The first way is to reduce our usage of digital devices (数字设备) by setting limits on when, where, and how long we use them, turning off the notifications (通知) on your phone, or putting your phone on “Do Not Disturb”. Once you become used to these, you will feel surprised how little you think about your phone. Another wonderful way is to take daily walks in the nature. It can help you reset, re-balance, and keep going. In the long run, a daily walk can not only influence our creativity and imagination but further our physical and mental health. We can also develop our creativity by doing yoga, keeping a diary, or reading. The key to the survival of our creativity starts with us. Will you put your phone away when spending time with friends? Will you try to find happiness and purpose outside of a screen? The action you choose to take will help change the relationship between creativity and technology for the better. 1.Why does the writer talk about businesses in paragraph 2? A.To stress the importance of creativity. B.To suggest good ways to develop technology. C.To show the effect that technology has on creativity. D.To explain the relationship between business and creativity. 2.What does the underlined word “deterred” mean in paragraph 4? A.Examined. B.Controlled. C.Replaced. D.Prevented. 3.Which of the following does the writer most probably agree with? A.Limiting the usage of our phones can help us to develop creativity. B.Spending time on screens is the easiest way to keep people focused. C.Turning off the notifications on the phone will make people worried. D.A daily walk does more good to physical health than to mental health. 4.What would be the best title for the passage? A.Creativity in a World of Technology: Does It Exist? B.Technology: How Does It Help to Develop Our Creativity? C.Technology and Creativity: Which of Them Is More Important? D.Technology and Creativity: How Do They Influence Each Other? 根据“Technology presents a new platform for creativity to exist on. Through technology, ideas can be set free and come to life in the physical world. We have the necessary tools for greater possibilities and new solutions. For example, businesses now have the opportunity to improve themselves more creatively through websites, film advertisements, social media or radio.” 根据和“As a result, they are reducing the opportunities to come up with their own creations.”可知,人们通过使用技术从而使自己减少了创作的机会,结合“Is there a way to find a balance between technology and human creativity? I think so. It is simply a matter of making sure that creativity is not deterred by technology.” 根据“ The first way is to reduce our usage of digital devices (数字设备) by setting limits on when, where, and how long we use them, turning off the notifications (通知) on your phone, or putting your phone on ‘Do Not Disturb’. Once you become used to these, you will feel surprised how little you think about your phone.” 故选A。 4. 根据“Is there a way to find a balance between technology and human creativity?” (九) As the saying goes, “If you can’t be a forest, you can be a tree. If you can’t be the sun, try to learn to be a star.” Most of the time, it is not the size that determines (决定) success or failure, but the fact that we should be the best ourselves. Maybe you’re not the one who gets the highest score in a test in your class. Maybe you’re not the kid your parents are so proud of. In fact, there are many dreams that we cannot realize because we need to improve our abilities and skills. It could also be that many dreams themselves take a lot of time. We need to be patient. After we fail many times, we will get a lot of experience and wisdom. We will be stronger and more hopeful after this. In this process, we change our hearts and feelings and try our best. It’s called being the best ourselves. The forest is home to many animals. It provides food and safety for them, but a small tree can also be a place of unwind for the birds. The sun makes people warm and it can provide all the energy needed for life on the earth, but stars can also light the way for those who walk at night, and give hope and direction to those in trouble. Everyone can be helpful to others and society as long as we make efforts to do our best. Everyone has their own talents and abilities. There’s a proper place for everyone. We don’t need to make those dreams far away from us come true. Until then, choose to be true and be best self, you will make a difference in the world. 1.Why might some dreams take a long time to achieve? A.Because people are usually not patient. B.Because all dreams are difficult to realize. C.Because we don’t have enough abilities and skills. 2.According to the passage, how can we be the best ourselves? A.By getting the highest score. B.By learning from the failure. C.By being the pride of our parents. 3.What does the underlined phrase “a place of unwind” probably mean? A.A resting place. B.A boring place. C.An exciting place. 4.Why does the writer talk about the forest, the tree, the sun and the stars in Paragraph 3? A.To show we can make our dreams come true. B.To show the size determines success or failure. C.To show we can make ourselves helpful if we try our best. 5.What’s the best title of this passage? A.Practice Hard for Success B.Never Give up Your Dreams C.Improve Yourself to Be the Best 【答案】1.C 2.B 3.A 4.C 5.C 【导语】本文主要论述了关于个人价值和追求的观点,强调不必追求成为最宏大的存在,而应努力做最好的自己。 1. 根据“In fact, there are many dreams that we cannot realize because we need to improve our abilities and skills. It could also be that many dreams themselves take a lot of time.” 根据“After we fail many times, we will get a lot of experience and wisdom. We will be stronger and more hopeful after this. In this process, we change our hearts and feelings and try our best. It’s called being the best ourselves.” 根据“The forest is home to many animals. It provides food and safety for them, but a small tree can also be a place of unwind for the birds.” 故选A。 4. 根据第三段“The forest is home to many animals. It provides food and safety for them, but a small tree can also be a place of unwind for the birds. The sun makes people warm and it can provide all the energy needed for life on the earth, but stars can also light the way for those who walk at night, and give hope and direction to those in trouble. Everyone can be helpful to others and society as long as we make efforts to do our best.” (十) There is great excitement and argument over Artificial Intelligence (AI). The argument about whether robots will replace teachers in the classroom is very heated. Some people think it is sure to happen in the next ten years. Others think that the value a good teacher brings, not only to the classroom setting, but in developing a child’s confidence and creativity outside lessons, cannot be easily replaced. AI is not new for us and is already being used successfully in many fields, such as medicine, science and so on. So what does this mean for our future? In my view, AI will help kids to think more freely and creatively. Can AI possibly cut down the teaching work in the future? Of course. Our teachers are always busy preparing for their lessons. Just imagine how happy they will be if they don’t have to correct hundreds of papers, but instead, have this task or others done by machines. However, most importantly, I do not believe AI will be able to imitate the human mental condition totally, especially emotional intelligence (情商). What makes learning unforgettable is shared experience, human interaction, and long-lasting positive relationships. For example, experienced teachers can comfort a student if he has suffered a serious loss. But no research shows that robots can imitate this well. I also believe we need to develop our kids’ personality and their ability not only to make decisions but also make the right decision. To achieve this, depending only on AI is impossible. In short, AI has both its advantages and disadvantages. To what degree can teachers use AI in their classes? You can have all the information you want with the help of AI, but great teachers will also need to depend on their own feelings. 1.The writer starts the passage by ________. A.telling a story B.comparing different views C.pointing out his opinion D.giving some suggestions 2.What is Paragraph 2 mainly about? A.The successful usage of AI in many fields. B.AI helps teachers to correct hundreds of papers. C.How helpful AI will be to both students and teachers. D.Teachers can help kids think more freely and creatively than AI. 3.What’s the meaning of the underlined word “imitate” in Paragraph 3? A.Imagine. B.Produce. C.Control. D.Copy. 4.What’s the structure of the passage? (P—Paragraph) A. B. C. D. 5.Which of the following would be the best title for the passage? A.Will AI Replace Teachers in the Classroom? B.What can AI Bring Students in the Classroom? C.Is AI a Good Way to Help with Children’s Learning? D.How do Teachers Use AI in Their Classroom Teaching? 根据短文开头“ There is great excitement and argument over Artificial Intelligence (AI).”可知,关于人工智能有很大的争论,结合下面“ Some people think it is sure to happen in the next ten years. Others think that the value a good teacher brings, not only to the classroom setting”可知,这是在提出两方的观点,所以文章是以比较观点的方式开始短文内容的。故选B。 2. 根据文章第二段“ In my view, AI will help kids to think more freely and creatively. Can AI possibly cut down the teaching work in the future? Of course. Our teachers are always busy preparing for their lessons.” 根据“However, most importantly, I do not believe AI will be able to imitate the human mental condition totally, especially emotional intelligence (情商).”,可知,作者认为人工智能不能模仿人类的精神状态,尤其是情商,可知imitate表示“模仿”。故选D。 4. 文章第一段就提出了本文的主旨“The argument about whether robots will replace teachers in the classroom is very heated.” 故选A。
