I always feel worried that my son might become addicted to them or do something that is harmful to his growth.” said Wang Haifeng, a mother of a 15-year-old boy in Beijing. “Stricter management makes me feel safer.” In addition to the rule, there are some other measures that will be put in place to help manage livestreaming services. For example, livestreaming platforms will be required to put a limit on how much money people can send to livestreamers. Once the limit is reached, viewers will not be able to send gifts or tips. They used the classic “rabbit strategy (策略)”. It usually needs teamwork of two skaters. One skater sprints (冲刺) from the start, while the other keeps following. This is different from the usual 1,500 m speed skating strategy of keeping an average (平均) pace and then picking up speed in the last few laps (圈). Using the “rabbit strategy”, after the first turn, Yang suddenly skated at full speed. She then was quickly one lap ahead of the other skaters and then stayed at the back of them. Working with Yang, Li changed between the front and the back in the first half of the race. This made the other skaters wonder who on earth was the “leading rabbit”. When the referee (裁判) announced there was only one lap to go, everyone except Yang had two laps left. The 1,500 m presents a great challenge of endurance (耐力) for sportsperson as it is. Using the rabbit strategy makes it even harder. Coach Liu Xiaoliang explained that choosing Yang as the “rabbit” was because of her excellent endurance and rapid starts. “To be honest, I wanted to win the gold so much and did whatever I could to prepare for it. I am very happy to finally get it,” Yang said after the race. 1.In which part of a newspaper can you find the text? A.Art. B.Weather. C.Sports. D.Health. 2.What was Li’s role in the race? A.How much she wanted to win. B.Her clever strategy and final speed. C.Her starting speed and ability to keep going. D.Her preparation and excellent continuous speed. 4.What is the text mainly about? A.The way to choose excellent players. B.The Olympic winners and their strategy. C.A new strategy in short track speed skating. D.Strategies in Olympic history. 【答案】1.C 2.D 3.C 4.B 【导语】本文介绍了中国队在女子1500米短道速滑中使用的“兔子策略”,两名运动员在比赛中相互配合并成功夺冠。 1.推理判断题。根据第一段“China’s Yang Jingru and Li Jinzi won China’s first gold and silver medals in the women’s 1,500 m short track speed skating (短道速滑) event of the Winter Youth Olympic Games on Jan 20th, 2024.”可知,说的是关于运动,所以在报纸的运动栏目能找到这篇文章。故选C。 2.细节理解题。根据第四段“Working with Yang, Li changed between the front and the back in the first half of the race. Directed by 41-year-old Jia Ling, the movie tells the story of a woman tired of the world, finding herself and learning to love life through boxing (拳击). The name of YOLO is short for the movie’s main idea—you only live once. Jia Ling has tried many different roles in her life, including crosstalk (相声) and sketch (小品) performer, variety show (综艺节目) guest and actress. The movie Hi, Mom (《你好,李焕英》) in 2019 is the first one Jia directed in her life. Jia didn’t study directing at university. It makes her feel freer in film making because she doesn’t need to follow a fixed style. To everyone’s surprise, Hi, Mom made her the world’s highest-grossing (票房最高的) woman director before 2023. Before making YOLO, Jia was often seen as an overweight comedian (喜剧演员). She often made jokes about herself to make people laugh. For this movie, Jia lost more than 50kg which made it hard to imagine that this is the same Jia we once knew. Some people online said even her voice became softer, and they called this a “rebirth” for Jia. She has proved through her actions, that if you want to be successful, you need to try your best. In Jia’s eyes, her change in identity (身份) and look is her way of saying true to herself. “It’s hard to predict one’s life. I’m just following my heart but not looking for changes in purpose. Movies are now the best way to show myself, so I put all my energy into them.” Jia told Xinhua. “In fact, Jia didn’t change. She’s just being more herself. She shows us through her actions,” said talk show host Chen Luyu. 1.How old is Jia Ling? A.Forty. B.Forty-one. C.Fifty. D.Fifty-one. 2.When did Jia Ling become a director for the first time? On Sunday, he won the gold medal in the men’s 400m freestyle at the 2024 National Summer Swimming Championships in Hefei, Anhui province. Sun is a member of Zhejiang team this time. He finished the race in three minutes and 49.58 seconds.
