Reread the last paragraph of Part 1 and predict what might happen next in the story.
From the last Para, the first line, we know that The Lions were playing our main competitors, The Bears, a team whose record this season had been perfect. They hadn’t lost a single game. That means, they met a strong opponent, and the competition would be fierce.
According to the last sentence, Paul didn’t know he’d soon get the chance that he’d been waiting for.
We can guess maybe Paul would get the chance to play on the court, not just sitting on the bench and being a replacement player.
Then read Part 2 as fast as you can to find out if your ideas are correct.

Another underdog story
In 2017, a wildcard(外卡) team called Misfits Gaming(MSF) entered the World Championship.
In the group stage, they defeated one of the strongest teams at the time, the Rox Tigers(ROX) of South Korea who finished in the world‘s top four(世界四强).
In the end, MSF met the 2017 world runner-up(世界亚军)SKT T1 in the four in eight game (八进四比赛).And now the team SKT T1 has got a total of five world champions. In the end, MSF ended up with the world top eight. However, the final score was 3(T1):2(MSF),which was really a miracle. The name of their team Misfits Gaming(MSF) is remembered by many.
Being underdog doesn’t mean being a loser;
Even the Rabbit can defeat the Tiger.
弱者不代表失败者,兔子也可战胜猛虎!
From Wildcard to the world top eight
从外卡到世界八强
我虽微弱腐草之荧光,却也胜过天空之皓月。
