Two astronauts are on a spacewalk. At this moment, some space rubbish hits their spaceship. The rubbish makes their ship stop working. They can’t go back to the Earth easily. This story comes from the film Gravity.
People may never see this kind of thing in the real world. But in fact it is dangerous for every astronaut when they go on a spacewalk. To protect astronauts, scientists at the Charles Stark Draper Laboratory in the US make smart spacesuits.
These spacesuits have a special “takemehome button (按钮)”. When going on spacewalks, astronauts tie themselves to their spaceship with a long rope. They also wear a special bag. Astronauts’ (宇航员) daily life in the space station may be new and interesting for people on Earth. Let’s take a look at the astronauts’ life in space.
