An Open Letter
Dear friends,
Everyone can help reduce our carbon footprint by taking small steps at home and school.
We should plan our meals every day to reduce food waste. We should take good care of our clothes and buy second-hand clothes. In addition, we can do a lot at home. For example, we should turn down the heating by one degree in winter. We can even help in the classroom by turning off the lights when we leave. We should also choose a green way to get around, like walking or taking a bus.
Let’s take action now!
Best regards,
Wang Xin

Let’s work together to make a real difference!
Firstly, we should prioritize using public transportation, carpooling, biking, or walking instead of driving alone. This will not only reduce greenhouse gas emissions but also alleviate traffic congestion and improve air quality.
Secondly, we should aim to consume less meat and dairy products. The livestock industry is a significant contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, so by reducing our consumption, we can make a meaningful impact on the environment.

Thirdly, we should advocate for and support the use of renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, and hydro power. This can be done by choosing green energy providers or installing solar panels in our homes.
Fourthly, we should reduce waste by practicing the three R's: reduce, reuse, and recycle. We should also properly dispose of hazardous waste such as batteries and electronics.
Sample
Fifthly, we should plant trees and support reforestation efforts. Trees absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, making them an essential tool in the fight against climate change.
Lastly, we should educate ourselves and others about the importance of taking climate action. By spreading awareness and encouraging others to take action, we can create a collective movement towards a more sustainable future.
