Lead-in T:As we all know,covid-19 has spread all over the world,do you want to be a volunteer to prevent the outbreak of the COVID-19?For example,I volunteer to remind people of wearing the masks.And I think volunteering is dangerous but meaningful. What do you volunteer to do and how do you think about it? Let students show their opinions. Step 2. Prediction 1.Look at the title and answer the questions. ①Do the students work for money or do they work for free?What word in the title helps us get the answer? They work for free. Volunteer. ②Are the volunteers young or old? How do we know? They are young. Students 2.Look at the pictures and answer the questions. ①Where is the boy? He is at an animal hospital. ②What job do you think the man next to the boy in the picture does? Maybe he is an animal doctor. ③Where are the girls in this picture? Are they in the classroom or in the library? Why? They are in the library. Because there are no desks or chairs. ④What are they doing? They are reading books. Step 3. Presentation 1.
