课题： Unit 3 The seasons.(The four seasons.) 授课时间： 教学目标 1.通过解读文本特征，预测阅读篇章的结构和内容； 2.通过找读关键信息，了解阅读篇章的内容，总结四季的特征; 3.能口头介绍自己喜欢的季节. 学情分析 703班学生普遍基础差，听课效率低，学生在前一节课了解到了四节的气候，景象和活动，但没有真正把握到与这相关的语言知识，不太能够有意识地运用It’s adj. to do 句型等实用表达，对不同季节的天气，活动和节日不够熟悉进行描述。同时，学生需要老师加以强调和在情景任务中运用，以及通过英语活动观三个层次的活动引导学生总结该篇文章的结构和语言特点，并升华“热爱自然”的主题意义。 教学内容分析 【What】该文本是一篇以 The four seasons 为主题的说明文，包括 title（标 题）、sub-heading（小标题）、picture（图片）。文用一般现在时，全文包括四个段落， 每个季节的气候特征和人们在每个季节中的活动等， 【Why】 作者通过介绍不同四季的特征，帮助学生理解季节与日常生活的关系，并会从不同方面介绍四季，让读者通过阅读发现四季之美和生活之美。 【How】(文体和语言) 该篇阅读包含有与每个季节相关的四张图片，帮助学生更好地通过图片感受一年四季之美。第一段是文章的主题句：每个季节都有它的特征；第二段介绍春天的特征；第二段介绍夏天的特征；第二段介绍秋天的特征；第二段介绍冬天的特征。语篇是非常典型的说明文，语言精炼，结构清晰，可读性强。 教学策略 PWP： Pre-reading ; While-reading; Post-reading 重点 1.了解不同气候的不同特点，景象和活动2.能通过阅读文章的主旨和信息 3.掌握获取阅读材料的技巧 难点 能口头介绍你最喜欢的季节 教学过程 步骤 教与学活动（师生活动） 设计意图 Warming up. Lead in the topic, T ask Ss how many seasons are there in a year? Ss answer and learn about spring, summer, autumn and winter. Quickly lead in the topic. While-reading -skimming Students skim the article and get the main idea and the teacher shows them the skills to get the main idea . let the students know the main idea of the article and learn the skills to get main idea. Step3 While-reading Scanning I Students read each paragraph of the article and fill the table about the whether, changes and activities and then find those sentences with the structure-It is +adj to do sth. let the students learn the whether , changes activities of the four seasons and the structure-It is +adj to do sth. Step4 While-reading Scanning II Students work in a group to complete the table and then show it to the whole class. Let the students to consolidate the whether, changes and activities of the four seasons. Step5 Post-reading The teacher shows a mind-map of her favourite season and then ask the students to group Work : How to introduce a season?And show their works with others. Let the students to show their own favourite seasons by using the information which they learnt before.
